Qualifications: Graduate of the Cleveland Chiropractic College. Graduate of Long Beach Dance Conditioning. Certified by PMA in Pilates.
Personal History: I became a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine because of my own spinal condition (my practice specializes in the proper rehabilitation of the lower back). I was introduced to Pilates as a fitness regimen and was so impressed that I mastered its philosophy and became an Certified Instructor. I wanted to offer Pilates to my patients as a way of treating pain and resolving it more effectively. As a result, I ended up co-founding the Pilates Sports Center in Los Angeles, along with Kelli Altounian.
Workout Philosophy: I believe in merging the classical and progressive styles of Pilates. We collaborate with many physical therapists and sports medicine professionals and have more than a decade studying this method of exercise. We have integrated modern principles of exercise science to make it safer and more effective.
Sucess Story: My A-list celebrity client was able to deliver her baby in under eight minutes of push labor after diligently working with me for months in preparation for the big day. She looked fabulous during pregnancy, and was fit and ready to rock it out shortly after delivery! The best part was her unwavering trust in me to get her core-conditioned and incredibly strong.
