Bizzie Gold

Qualifications: Celebrity Trainer & Wellness Expert Bizzie Gold is the founder of BUTI®, a female-empowering program that fuses yoga, plyometrics and dance.

Personal History: Gold first came to the media’s attention in 2012 as the Founder of BUTI®, a female empowerment lifestyle brand based on its signature style of movement that has garnered wide-spread media praise including being rated one of the Hottest Workouts of 2013 by both the TODAY show and SHAPE magazine. Gold trains a handful of A-List celebrities that have taken their bodies to the next level using the BUTI format to build long, lean muscle and achieve optimum health through a series of nutritional guidelines and lifestyle changes. Featured in SHAPE, SELF and InStyle magazines, Gold has solidified her unique role in the fitness marketplace by pushing a holistic wellness approach that achieves long-lasting results without punishment.

Her personae has been referred to as "Jane Fonda meets Chelsea Handler." Gold's tell-it-like-it-is style is not only hilarious -- it's inspiring. She is un-apologetically sexy and wants others to be the same -- "We are moving into an amazing era of global health consciousness and I'd like to help people all over the world learn to lead healthy, confident lives without punishing themselves to get results. Wellness should be celebrated - not dreaded.”

After suffering through a traumatic childbirth resulting in her daughter’s diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy in 2010, Gold picked up the pieces and channeled her years of expertise in the fitness, yoga and wellness industries to create the brand we now know as BUTI®. Fifty-five pounds over her pre-pregnancy weight and overwhelmed, Gold found it difficult to go back to teaching “traditional yoga” classes. She felt inspired to move her body in a different way to work through the pain, trauma and extensive weight-gain and feel like a strong, sexy woman again. Drawing on years of yoga, high-intensity interval training and dance, Gold created a much-needed form of movement to help women not only acheive physical results -- but find themselves. In 2012 Gold subsequently created the XY® program, a HIIT workout that fuses performance and strength training with strategic yoga postures. The XY® program is currently sweeping the US and Canada lead by Gold's husband an ex-professional athlete Chris Biollo.

Gold’s story has inspired thousands of women throughout the US and abroad to lead the BUTI lifestyle and learn to love themselves again through food, movement and self-expression. A known-expert in fitness, nutrition, and style, Gold’s on-camera presence is a stark contrast to the highly punishing, militant and often physically harmful practices of many fitness experts today
