Personal History: I have been teaching fitness and health from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles for over a decade, although I have been part of the fitness world for my entire life. I began as a ballerina for Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and transitioned into teaching yoga while attending college and earning a B.A. in Psychology and Education. I continued to teach group and private yoga while traveling around the world and lecturing at anti-aging conferences about biological aging. During this time I was blessed to learn wellness and fitness techniques from diverse cultures. I brought this learning back with me, moved to Los Angeles for a view of the ocean, and continued searching for more knowledge. In Los Angeles, I trained under the Elisabelth Halfpapp and Fred DeVito, the original teacher trainers of the Lotte Berk Method, which developed into the many present “Barre” techniques. I received my favorite and most extensive certification in mat and apparatus Pilates via Carrie Macy, who is respected as one of the top Pilates educators in the nation. I also became specialized in pre & post pregnancy fitness and nutritional counseling to guide clients toward complete wellness through fitness and diet. In addition to teaching fitness locally I work as a fitness expert, TV host, spokesmodel, and lifestyle writer. My goal is to use my diverse training, and experience to inspire those around me to live the good life with a healthy body and happy outlook. I spend my spare time paddle-boarding, hiking, bike riding, gardening, walking my 2 puppies, and beating boys at push-up competitions.

Workout Philosophy: I believe fitness and nutrition are a guide to living life to the fullest. Implementing a personal exercise routine and healthy eating habits into your daily life will allow your inner beauty and joy to shine through. I balance challenging and efficient workouts with a playful tone, which enables clients to see immediate results while having fun! I have trained everyone from young adults to professional athletes with great success. The ultimate physical goal for everyone is to build core strength, develop physical balance through strength and flexibility, all while sculpting their ideal figure.

Success Story: As much as our clients think we as instructors give to them, we actually get so much more back in return. It’s a blessing each time a client connects to their body, looses weight, gets stronger, or has fun. Working in group and a private setting has allowed me to guide so many clients through their personal success whether improving their performance, losing weight, relieving constant pain, or just improving their outlook.
Wendy was able to improve her marathon time with my high intensity training and lose weight! “I’ve dropped 5 minutes from my 1/2 marathon time, increased my energy levels and dropped about a pant size each month I’ve been doing it. I love my sweat-flinging, heart racing intervals! Thanks Christine!!!” Allie learned that Pilates can improve every other sport “Through Christine’s education, I have learned to engage the appropriate muscle groups and use proper alignment in all my other workouts. I’ve also found that incorporating these techniques into my other workouts has made them significantly more challenging”.
Elaine suffered from severe scoliosis, “I value the practices of Pilates and what Christine has shared with me in only two sessions. My core is stronger and my back released more with Christine’s Pilates instruction, than it had with my chiropractor over the last several months.”
Julie gained a new passion for her fitness routine,“It is very obvious that Christine is very gifted in not only Pilates and Exercise instruction, but her greatest gift is that she teaches students to achieve fitness and life goals through a balanced life of exercise, healthy lifestyle and a positive outlook. I leave her class with a very positive outlook because of the wonderful experience she creates for a student.
