Qualifications: Certified by ACE. Board certified Physical Therapist. Certified by Step Reebok and Bosu.

Personal History: I have always been active. I danced for many years growing up and eventually participated in aerobic competition just out of college. After spending many hours in the gym training and rehearsing, I decided to begin teaching. I've been teaching ever since.

Workout Philosophy: Energy creates energy. Making exercise a part of my everyday routine gives me a much higher level of energy and enthusiasm for life.

Sucess Story: A woman named Marie, who was a recent empty-nester, came to one of my weight training classes with a goal of improving her strength. She was very thin and had no muscle tone. She reported that she had recently been told by her two boys - now off to college - that she looked too skinny. She was very self-conscious during the first few classes; however, she continued to come weekly and gradually gained confidence as she increased her weights and abilities. Six months later, she was working out with eight to ten-pound hand weights and completing ten good push-ups. She has become a dedicated part of this class and is now participating in other classes.
