FIRMER. I am hangigng in there and have a nice weekend </description><link>http://www.collagevideo.com/forum/fb.ashx?m=59436</link><pubDate>Sat, 17 Oct 2009 14:24:28 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Re:new to forum and starting over (Charmaine)</title><description>  Hiya Jamerican girl. &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Your mum is right, you need to stay off the scales because your body fluctuates daily with water, hormones, etc and this can show up as a gain on the scales and really send you on a downer.  I don't believe one should weigh more than once a week and try to do it at the same time of day each time, preferably in the same type of clothing.  Personally I weigh once a &lt;i&gt;month&lt;/i&gt; and that works for me as I used to get really obsessive about those numbers and found that my mood for the day would be dictated by the numbers I saw each week - not the way I wanted to live :-)Also, I weigh in my underwear, but that's just me :-)  As for the whole physiology of how the body works and what makes your weight go up when you've done everything right, some of the other ladies are far better equipped to offer you more explanation but what I can say is I don't believe there is anything wrong, it's just how our bodies work.  Keep going - I know it's hard especially after your scales have given you an unexpected reading but believe me, especially with the workouts you are doing, you will lose inches &lt;i&gt;far &lt;/i&gt;quicker than you will weight (that was my experience of the Firm ) but in the end it's the inches lost that dictate how your clothes fit and how you look more than the weight imho.  The weight will come off, just not maybe as quickly.  I stress again, keep going please don't give up. &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Hope I've put your mind at ease, even just a little bit :-)  Try doing a search on the Forum as I'm sure you'll find even more info to help you make sense of everything. &lt;br&gt;  &lt;br&gt; Enjoy the rest of your weekend and I'll say it once more "DON'T GIVE UP!" :-) </description><link>http://www.collagevideo.com/forum/fb.ashx?m=59435</link><pubDate>Sat, 17 Oct 2009 14:16:51 GMT</pubDate></item><item><title>Re:new to forum and starting over (jamericangirl74)</title><description>  hello all. well I hope I responded correctly. I have just finnished the fat blaster. i still stop at certain parts of the video. lol! anyway I wanted to ask a questoin. How can the scale go up 5 pounds when you start back ecersizing and dieting/ my mother told me it was water and to stay off the scale for a while. But it is very discouraging and depressing.I am 5'5. I weighed 215 last Sunday, I worked out all week ecept for fri. and I now weigh 220? huh? I don't understand? I know I didn't gain weight.
