FIRM 90 Day Rotation - Thursday, September 11, 2008 7:15 AM
Has anyone ever done this?  Did you use only Firm DVDs or did you mix in some others?

I will be starting this rotation on Monday (my first time).  I plan to use only Firms, but might have to throw in an occasional Leslie if my knees act up.

I've done this rotation(well up to the 4th week) i have trouble sticking to one rotation,I like it cuz you're able to use the older firms that they no longer use in their newer rotations. Its a fun rotation.
actually i've stuck to 1 rotation and thats because I was accountable to someone else on another board. Tricia are you starting on the 15th? if so maybe we can do the rotation together and get others to join us? then we can start a check in for the 90 days. PM me to let me know. =)

This definitely looks like a challenge. I did well years ago with just Vol 2, so I will be watching with interest.

Good luck with the rotation.

Hi everyone - I am currently on week 6 of the Firm 90 day rotation.  I am around a beginning to more intermediate level.  I really like the way they have not just cardio or weights - but tortoise is a little cardio more weight, hare is more cardio less weights, etc.  Keeps it more exciting than cardio day/weight day!  Some posts asked about how strict you are on firm only videos.  I use some firm and some others - I get bored really quickly so I need lots of variety to keep me motivated  - everyday something new to look forward to.  I try to guess on what level it is - tortoise, 50/50.  I have rheumatoid arthritis, so I also add in extra rest days as needed.  I just always keep things flexible so not to have guilt if I miss a day, or can't do heavy weights.  We do the best we can!  Hope you try it and enjoy it!

I've tried to do the 90 day rotation a few times, but I am not good with sticking to rotations.   I just finished week 4, but I am going to stop due to wanting to use other workouts.   Even though Firm workouts are my favorities, I just can't stick with it.  I was using only Firm workouts.

Even though I have only completed one month, I feel that I have gotten results.  I pushed myself with each workout and tried to get in some extra outside walking also.

The link says that it is for interm. exercisers only...why?  I would like a CLEAR-CUT rotation to start out with.....what is y'all's opinions on doing this rot. for a beginner???? (doing all the videos with  "beginner" modifications and speeds of course)

Thanks Sarah

Hi again Sarah!  I think you can do this rotation and modify as needed.  Follow the beginner modifications in the workout, use light or no weights, take more rest days, etc.  A few of us have been following this rotation for about 6 weeks now - BUT we are modifying by using other workouts, too, not just the FIRM, but trying to follow the calendar for the type of workout for the day.

We are posting on the Check-ins and Challenges section of this forum. I think the thread is called 90 day challenge or something like that.
