Hey gals, super late checking, had to do my workout around 8:30, yawn! Today was Cathe's step from body fusion, which I hadn't tried and it was fun! then did LC3, very fun workout and a total chest frier! I can't do all the push ups on this one on my toes, but I'm seeing progress and that makes me happy!

Hi Mary! LOL there is NO "choreography" per se in this workout! Even the cardio blasts were 1 minute of bootcamp-inspired drills (high-knee runs or jacks, etc)! And not all weighted moves used the step, although there were a few leg presses. I would think you could sub lunges for leg presses, and on the 1 legged squats you could do them on the floor. As for the high step burpees, you could do them on the floor (but they would be tougher!). I would think all the moves could be adapted to no-step. And in fact, the second half of the workout (IMO even more fun and definitely more challenging than the first half) no step is required. So in total, about 3/4 of the moves on the DVD use no step, and the rest would be easy to modify. Although one thing I did long ago before I had a high step (for this workout I used my Transfirmer, as it's even more sturdy than my club step with 5 risers) was I bought a rubber 12" step for Ikea for 5 bucks which worked PERFECTLY. Just a thought! Another workout I have that is similar in concept to this one is Cathe's High Step Challenge BUT Cathe's HSC is way more intense. Although it's weird -- Cathe's HSC got an int/adv rating and Stephanie's got advanced (?!?!?!) Maybe I am just in the minority! But yes, Mary, if you can get this one, you would like it I think!

Thanks Sam. I have an old Wooden 14" step from the classic Firms I could use. I just don't like "step" per se. But if these are moves where you aren't "stepping" then I am ok. Thanks for the feedback and on my wish list it goes! :) Mary
