well, my plans never stay the same, but here's my tentative plan for next year.
January--P90X/Rockin' Body                                                                                                            
February--STS/TurboJam

it will be interesting to see how long i can do this.  esp since i also really want to get rks, bbl, and bbc 5-day academy, plus i have mb45, kwx, and others i want to do.  (i'm sure my formatting will get all screwed up when i post.  i don't know what i did to my phone.  when i got it i could use capitals and enter for paragraphs, but i can't anymore.  i should go to sprint and see if they can help me figure it out.)  oh, and i forgot i have bbc, p90, and power half hour.  i should plan powerfit in there somewhere too.  so many workouts, so little time!  (that should be my tagline. :) )

I'm just so impressed that you think so far ahead!!  Sometimes it's a surprise to me what I'm even going to do tomorrow.

Here's a challenge for you: what happens when a new system or dvd comes along that everyone's raving about, are you going to resist it and stick to what you have planned?  I'm not saying I'm a bettin' woman, but I would lay some odds on this one... : )

hee hee!  you know me well, annie! :)  actually, i'm putting myself on workout buying restriction through june.  i've a specific list of allowed workouts/systems that will be my rewards for challenges.  maybe i'll have to actually post the list to keep me honest! ;)  and yeah, thinking ahead sometimes seems to be what i do best, it's the follow through where i'm sorely lacking!

Vannie, I hope it works better for you than it did for me.
This past year I planned out the 1st 7 months of the year - with the thought being I need not buy any new workouts.

Then Peak fit Challenge came out, and then Zumba etc etc.
This year I am only planning January and February and maybe March. I am trying to resist planning March.

Last two months I had a rotation Jari in November and Cathe (Max) in December. Although once in a while I diverted, I basically stayed in the rotation. You made me start thinking at least ahead to January. I'm thinking different instructors in January, but the same basic group. I'll let ya know. YOU are Inspirational!!

aww, you're so sweet, ofl! :)        saundra, realistically i know i'm not likely to stick to this rotation, but i'm really hoping i can.  it will be quite an accomplishment if i can!

well, i worked out the schedule for the next several months, but i will wait to put them on the real calendar.  don't know yet what days i might be gone and that sort of thing.  i'm excited!  last year i thought for 2011 i'd do a different week or a rotation every week.  i like the monthly idea better.

Thanks ladies.

Vannie, one of things I did was I would schedule it anyway, and if something came up and I miss a workout oh well.  I would just pick it up with the next workout. Are you scheduling in rest days? Because if you are, you can use your rest days to make up for missed workouts.

I like the monthly better too. One month in 2011 (April) I did weekly.  That was because I was moving and the timing was all messed up.  The weekly is good for when you want to do a lot of different systems and you can't make them fit monthly.

Saundra, I didn't actually schedule rest days.  When I put them on the calendar I will have a better idea because I'll know (or at least have a guess) which days I won't be able to work out for some reason, and those will be my rest days.  I did each month for four weeks, so there will be a little give in there.  I so want to stick with it.  I don't think I could go three months without Chalene in order to do STS or P90X straight through, so I think this is a better solution for me.

Vannie you crack me up.  I'm more of an annie bannanie type of girl, tomorrow's workout is always a surprise.  I plan on one thing and then something else ends up in the player.  I am terrbily impressed that you plan this far in advance, so much so that you have inspired me to plan January, I'm thinking a Patrick combo.
