bosu? - Wednesday, January 18, 2012 7:56 PM
I was thrilled to get a bosu for Christmas because I have an Amy Bento workout that uses the bosu and have been wanting a bosu for quite awhile.  (My hubby got me the Mindy Milrae Workout! disc that is a lot of fun to go along with it.)  Can anyone suggest other bosu workouts that are fun?  Has anyone heard of any bosu systems?

Is it not ridiculous how excited we can all be over a piece of athletic equipment and a DVD?!;)

Ooh ooh, you have to try Bosu Blast with Seazun Zieger!  It's my go-to Bosu cardio workout. It has a great abs section too, with a plank series on the flipped-over Bosu that kills me. (in a good way!)

I agree that Bosu Xplode is an excellent set but It's rather pricey and a couple of the workouts have to be modified unless you have 2 bosus and something strong to attach a band to for resistance.  It needed a bit more room than I had.  It is good though. Hmmm, have anything to trade?  ; ) If you like Mindy, you'd love the tough Bosu cardio workout in the set.  She's just not my cup of tea, although I do like Keli Roberts and she leads one of the workouts.  One of the male instructors is suuuuper enthusiastic and he just cracks me up.

Have fun with your new toy!!  I totally get your excitement : )

I pulled up this link since I am always looking for more bosu workouts as well.  Looks like the workout w/Seasun is no longer available thru Collage, but I just checked Amazon and they have it.

Yep Annie. I didn't know.
I was actually thinking of giving my Bosu away but my boyfriend uses it for his Ab/Core workout.

I still have most of the  workouts in the original  series but I haven't done them in ages.

I did check out the link.  The video clip wouldn't play for me. I was okay with that because the price left me thinking I really didn't want them.

I hope you like it! Lots of people really like the other workout in the package too, so could be a party bonus for you.  Let me know what you think ok?  Dont skip the abs section : )

Well, that did sort of cross my mind, but I'm so guilty of doing something once or twice and not really getting my money's worth.  I kind of feel like I should explore it some more.

I don't know though.... do you have anything enticing?  ; )
(see how decisive I am?!)

I know I won't do the Mindy Mylrea workout though and you seemed to like her.  Would you want just one and not the whole set though?

I have to agree with Bosu Blast.  I don't have a Bosu and use a Step for it. It's a lot of fun and not as complicated as her other cardio, which I find totally confusing. Bosu Blast has really fun choreography. It does get a little repititious after awhile, but a fun workout.

Hi all!

I have done both workouts on cia2604 three times now.  I love this disc!!!  The bosu is repetitious but I find that this allows me to work harder because I know what to expect in the steps that are coming, keep in mind the bosu is new to me.  The bosu is just flat out fun!  Thanks for the recommendation, I love Seasun and Sharon, they are new instructors to me so I get to check out new material too.

I'm so glad you like it!!  yeah, it does repeat a bit but I don't mind it in this one, I guess.  You made my day : )
