Jari love - Thursday, October 15, 2009 4:46 AM
K so I had been debating for a while over getting Ripped and Chisled since I already have s&l and  R to the core (plus of course r 1000). But you gals got me going about her so I ordered it. In the warm up I was thinking ok why did I get this it is the same as her other ones. No way I say, not that I sit here shaking. It was good. Really good and I thank you for enabling me

Let us know how your triceps handle it. Mine are sore for multiple days.

R&C does have an awesome tricep and shoulder section but the rest of the excercises just go on and on and on....I recently did Extremely Ripped again (both sections) and would like to take back what I said in another post. I do like this one as much as the original Ripped and S&L and have put it back into my rotation. I just think when you come close to 100 reps, (bicep curls) it's just boring. But I am a cranky menopausal woman, so take it with a grain of salt..............

Ok it is the day after and I NEVER (almost;) get DOms. Well I feel it in my arms still. YAY that makes me so happy I can't wait to do it again. I also think I am going for her exemely ripped 1000 now.

I love all things jari! But I must admit, I don't have the two new ones or Slim and Lean. I'm waiting for Slim and Lean in a trade. I'm not sure about doing a workout with endless reps so I would rather get it in a trade and if I don't like it, I haven't paid any extra for it and I can trade it away again.

Too funny!  I had much the same experience.  I remember many saying R&C was their favourite of Jari's so I gave it a try ... but at first I thought "This is just the same as any of her other workouts; actually it seems easier than her others ..."  Well, different story by the time I finished lol.  In my notes I put "DOMS for upper back!"

Slim & Lean isn't so bad on the reps, It's Ripped and Chiseled that has way too many reps. Only the tricep and shoulder tracks are really good and interestingly, those two tracks are the shortest!

Denise, I'm so glad you added that last post.  I just ordered S&L instead of R&C because it sounded more like what I was wanting and you confirmed that.  Thanks

Denise - I'm glad you posted that also - I am just starting to think about getting some Jari workouts, I thought S&L had more reps.  I am trying to determine what the differences are between all her dvds.

Hmm, good to know. I have only done Ripped and Chiseled once, and thought it was good, but could not figure out why it's a favorite Jari workout for so many. So far my favorite is Ripped to the Core, just because it's total body and I like that she stretches after each section and gives you time to set up for each section. Now I'll have to anticipate Slim and Lean in my trade. That is if I can hold out that long!! Naughty, naughty enablers!!

As far as total body workouts go, I suggest Slim and Lean and Ripped to the Core. RTTC seems to go by really fast and you burn a lot of calories due to compound exercises.

I like all of Jari's workouts for different reasons, but I personally saw the best results from S&L and RTTC.

The only Jari I actually enjoy is RTTC. I add on 30 min of cardio before doing this and it's a great workout. I find it not repped to death like S&L.  For some reason my back and delts really get sore to the point of aching when I do S&L.  I think it's rep overkill, especially with her chest work.

I don't have Ripped to the Core, but I do prefer Ripped & Chiseled to Slim & Lean because I feel like I worked out more.  But Ripped & Chiseled only has a few lower body exercises, and they're at the beginning, so I mix up the segments, do a few upper body, then lower, then a few upper, then another lower.  It helps me get through all the reps.
