Crunch: Cardio Dance Blast! |
    Excellent beginner workout |
| This is the first video that I did after my pregnancy to get back in shape. It is definitely a beginner video, or for someone like me who just had a baby and wants to really start working out again. I actually looked forward to doing this video each day because it was actually fun as well as effective. - posted by Michelle on 3/28/2008 |

    Lots of fun! |
| This was a blast! Unlike a lot of dance workout DVDs, the moves are a bit hipper and more current, which is kind of a rarity to find. My only gripe is the length: I wish it was a full hour! However, I did break a sweat. This workout is ideal for a lighter day. - posted by Molly on 2/22/2008 |

Pretty good but I like Dance Workout for Dummies better |
| I found the "Dummies" workout easier to follow and more fun. I did like this video however and although I had some trouble following the moves I know I will pick up on them a few times through. I agree with the reviewer who complained about the costumes, there were a few that were so awful you just can't believe it. And lose the hats! That said, Marie has great enthusiasm and energy and I enjoyed her a lot. I look forward to the next workout! - posted by Sassy on 2/12/2008 |

    Fun, fun, fun! |
| I love this video! Marie is so upbeat and positive, and I happen to love her little comments. The whole vidoe has this cool, hip and happening feel. The moves are fun, once you get the hang of it. It was a challenge for me to learn some of the moves - I am so not a dancer - but I kept at it, and I'm glad I did. - posted by Miriam on 12/6/2007 |

    Used to hate exercise!! |
| I'm not anything like the other women who are in the video with Marie, in other words, I'm a BIG girl who grimaced any time the word exercise was used, except when it came to swimming, which I enjoy--until I started doing the Cardio Dance Blast!! To be honest, I'm not the most cooridinated person and probably don't do all the moves as correctly as the dancers in the video, but I do sweat and I feel I get a really good workout. I've tried a lot of exercises and even when doing the water aerobics last summer, I didn't lose weight, I toned up, but didn't lose a pound. However, with the Cardio Dance Blast, I've lost eight pounds in a month and for me to stick with an exercise program that isn't swimming for a month and to lose almost two pounds a week, that is exciting!! I'll be looking for more of Maries' videos!!! - posted by Patti on 11/19/2007 |

    Great way to workout |
| I have over 50 different workout videos/dvds and Marie's are always the most fun to do. She always has great music selections. On the days when I'm not really feeling like excersising, I always choose one of hers because I know the upbeat, fun routines will put me in the mood! I wish she would hurry and do some more ! - posted by Robin on 10/21/2007 |

    Not so great.......at all |
| I'm sorry, I usually trust the name Crunch, I have several DVDs myself, but this one is not good. It was just corny. The music was weak. The instructor was a bit annoying to me, and what ended up happening to that "street" accent she had at the beginning of the workout Too fake for me. I didn't like the wear they had on, it look really uncoordinated and seemed to create an imbalance in the set and the mood of it. It was just off. And no she didn't say "Look out Beyonce" at the booty pop section and then later said the same about J-Lo during a different move. It was so corny I literally stop the movement I was doing and said "Oh my Gosh! This is stupid". The only thing that I enjoyed doing in the workout was the "salt shaker", that was fun. I respect those who thought the best of it, but it's not for me. One thing for sure is - Marie has a nice mid-section, she definately has a "washboard" torso. - posted by Lennette, 31 on 8/8/2007 |

Liked Marie, preferred the dance workout format |
| I've always liked Marie's personality after seeing her in other dance videos (and she doesn't repetitively say 'Ah!' at the end of every measure in this workout like she does in other videos). This was the first dance video I've tried where I didn't get bored during each segment with all the overly repetitive TIFTT-ing. There are 6 quick and fun 5 minute segments that move pretty quickly, and each segment has the same breakdown pattern. 2 more segments would have been great. For someone like me who picks up dance moves pretty quickly, I prefer the several-shorter-segment format over the fewer-longer-segment format. And normally the participants don't bother me, but I do so agree that the wardrobe choices for the cast were awful. And I wish that the goofy blond up front had traded places with the overlooked girl in blue sweats in the back! - posted by glb on 8/7/2007 |

Pretty good for what it is |
| I actually liked this. It is one of my seven or eight dance videos that actually has the capacity to get my heart rate up easily if I put a little effort into it. Yes, the clothes are silly, as silly as the pretend camraderie. Also, as a previous poster mentioned, there is one especially goofy girl with crazy expressions they keep panning to. She makes me laugh or smile whenever they show her. It looks like she's on something or drunk. :D However, I still liked it. It was fun, and only a couple moves were hard to do on carpet. My one main complaint was that it was really too short, but from what I understand, most of the Crunch videos are about thirty minutes. - posted by Cary on 6/16/2007 |

| Good, Jump-Free Workout |
| Good for days I don't feel like jumping around. Also, I have a number of dance videos, yet found the moves unique and fun. As for the clothes, with Crunch videos, I always enjoy figuring out who wins the "goofiest outfit" award (doesn't everybody) Something to do when the routine drags. - posted by N.J. on 4/12/2007 |
