Leslie Sansone's 2-Mile Walk

I love this one.
I've used many, many videos over the years with many different instructors. This particular dvd is one of my top favorites of all time. Even though I've advanced, I still use aerobic routines I learned with this dvd. - posted by Sandy on 3/27/2008
Sorry, I don't care for this one at all
I hadn't done this one in awhile, but I've been getting back into doing Leslie's workouts again lately so I tried this one again. Now I remember why I never did it very much. It's harder to follow and I even got lost a couple times. Still compared to most aerobics videos it's pretty basic, and the moves are more challenging than most of Leslie's current ones. But I like the newer, older, more simple Leslie. It's interesting to see her when she was younger more a regular aerobics instructor than the icon she is now, and the retro aerobics outfits and hair show what a difference a decade of new fashion can make. :) - posted by Vicki on 1/14/2008
More intense than newer videos
This is a good exercise video. It is more intense than the newer 'walk away the pounds' videos. - posted by Stephanie on 11/26/2007
Nice Variety
I agree with everyone else, if your tired of Leslie's 4 basic movements then pick this one up. It's intense enough for a short cardio session and anyone can do it. I've had it for about two weeks and have done it twice already, it's a nice warm up for strength or for more intense cardio. If your a Leslie fan and haven't tried her older workouts giv'em a shot you won't be dissapointed. - posted by MJ on 9/25/2007
Fun Workout--only half an hour with a variety of moves
I agree with the other posters about this one. Even though it's older than the others, I go back to it too! It has more variations in movements. Her newer ones get repetitive with the same few moves. This one goes by faster and you'll work up a sweat. I always have to wash my hair after this one! It only takes 30 min. but feels like a great use of the workout time. But it's not too hard to do, just taxing enough and fun. Make more like this Les, and we'll buy 'em! - posted by Geo on 8/25/2007
2 Miles Flies By
Normally I walk 1 to 3 miles a day outside about 3 times a week. I thought this 2 mile walk would be a breeze. It isn't. You don't realize that when you walk and talk outside, your pace probably changes a lot. This DVD will keep your heart rate up and the pace going strong throughout. My favorite part is how fast the time flies by. There's no excuse not to exercise with this DVD. - posted by Kayll on 7/3/2007

The best workout!
This is Leslie's best workout. There is much more variety in steps than her later workouts and you get a REALLY good workout from it. I love working out with Leslie on all the videos/DVD's that I have. But I am so glad I found this one for a real hard workout. Highly recommend! - posted by Cindy Gabriel on 2/25/2007
Peppier than newer Leslie
Have to add my two cents. I go back to this walk even though it is older. It is much peppier than Leslie's newer releases. I can work up a sweat with this one. Yes, she talks, but she doesn't mention who's a grandmother or mother and daughter LOL. - posted by CSU on 2/8/2007
Love It
I love this one so much that I have it on VHS and now also on DVD. This was early Leslie, when she called it Walk Aerobics, and there are some different and fairly challenging moves. This one has actually sped up my weight loss. It's fast. She does a lot of grapevines in this one, and I have been substituting side steps and watching my outer thighs shape up. I really like the frequency of the meter at the bottom of the screen. Love it, love it, love it! - posted by Mary on 6/25/2006
Good 'recovery day' workout
Even though I'm an intermediate exerciser now, I still go back to Leslie's routine whenever I just need something to get me going for the day. When I did Willpower and Grace by Stacey Lei Krauss for the first time, Leslie's 2-mile walk and 3 mile WATP became my routines for the next 2 days. I was sore from Stacey's intense routine that I felt my body was just up to a very light cardio workout until I become 100% again. Leslie's walk aerobics also became the alternate-recovery day workout when I do Billy's Basic Bootcamp. I hardly break a sweat doing Leslie's routine but she keeps me disciplined on not skipping a scheduled exercise day. Bottomline, when I have Leslie's DVDs around, I have no excuse not to exercise. 8 days after my gall bladder surgery in Aug. 2005, I went back to exercising using WATP. Thanks a lot Leslie! - posted by FPE on 5/13/2006

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
