Yoga Zone: Conditioning & Stress Release |
Still one of the best |
| I first reviewed this video 13 years ago, and noted the lack of recent reviews. I STILL regularly do this video, it has aged better than I have! It's one of the very few that I have bought in both VHS and DVD formats, and I've bought several as gifts. It's an excellent intro to yoga, as the level of direction is just the best. The emphasis on breathing and on the upper back and neck means I feel better than if I got a massage! It's an ideal pre-bedtime routine, the emphasis is definitely on the Stress Release rather than the Condiitoning. You will not get ripped doing this, but that's not always the point. - posted by Sheryl on 4/7/2013 |

    Slow, Easy, Relaxing, Long |
| I found this to be very similar to Yoga Zone's Flexibility and Tone Video. They're both inside and did practically the same poses throughout with only a little bit of variation. They are both very relaxing and the poses are held still (not flowing). It almost made me fall asleep. Besides, the stretching is more effective when done with heat in the body as a flowing vinyasa yoga would do. But this is great for when you're really wanting to veg out on slow (yet cold) stretches. They're both very easy. Alan Finger's cuing and explanations are insightful and knowledgeable but wastes time explaining before guiding you into several poses. - posted by Cher on 1/29/2010 |

    Great video |
| This is one of my favorites. Very relaxing, and Alan's voice is very soothing. This is one of those videos I use when I need to relax and I always feel so much better when I'm done. - posted by Joyce on 11/23/2008 |

    incredible!!! |
| I am on the go constantly sooo when I first tried the video, I found it a bit slow. I decided to stick with it anyway and now I am hooked!!! It's really wonderful. I feel so relaxed energized and was amazed at how not feeling sore feels. I was never a yoga fan until this. - posted by Sonia on 10/25/2008 |

I have loved this video for years! |
| I have owned this dvd for about 5 years, and I go back to it over and over. It is a good, thorough yoga workout and based on solid yoga practice. Not a fast program, but it works every muscle and makes me feel a little sore the next day every time I use it! The relaxation/meditation at the end is heavenly. - posted by Heather on 6/4/2008 |

Relaxing and Great for Uncoordinated |
| I highly recommend this dvd. I never liked yoga or pilates because I'm not coordinated and just not limber enough to do it. I bought this because of the review that said how relaxing it is and how true. I sit all day in an office. I have back and neck stiffness. If I know I'm so stressed and probably won't be able to sleep, I do this dvd and it really works. The instructor is not annoying and even though I'm a beginner, it's not too basic. You won't get tired of it and it really relaxes your muscles so you can sleep. - posted by Linda on 5/9/2008 |

    Still Loving it! |
| I didn't realize I had already written a review (Oct 2006), but I did this last night after awhile of not doing it, and I felt so much better! I really needed the relaxation element of it, and it really calmed my mind down. I had been feeling very stressed or kind of "wired" and wasn't really aware that was the problem until a few minutes into this workout. It almost immediately began calming my mind and my body at the same time. This and Alan's other yoga workouts are going back into my weekly rotation! Just a side note, as someone who has ALOT of workout videos/dvds, I usually shy away from workouts that are older, but I honestly don't notice the fact that this was filmed 9 or 10 years ago. The way it is made is very good, and it seems timeless. It's wonderful! - posted by Andrea on 8/2/2007 |

| Love it! |
| I've had this workout for 6 years, and still love it, and still turn to it for a great stretching/yoga program to release tight muscles (especially in the neck and hamstrings for me). It's great! I have all 5 of Alan Finger's yoga workouts offered by Collage and they are all excellent. By the way - I had all in video format, but got 3 of them on DVD last year. I gave those videos to a friend. They are all worth it because they never go out of style, in my opinion! - posted by Andrea on 10/7/2006 |

| Love love love this video!! |
| I build up alot of stress & anxiety through out my day and when I do this video the stress just melts away. You can literally feel a HUGE difference within the first 10 minutes of doing the video. It makes you feel so calm and relaxed. I also like the instructor...he is very soothing. Would highly recommend. - posted by on 6/7/2005 |
