Kathy Smith's Latin Rhythm Workout |
    I Enjoy This! |
| This workout has me smiling the whole way through, and when I'm done, my calves are on fire! I always do both 20 minute workouts, and I like that I can be drenched in sweat, happy and exhausted when only 40 minutes are up. The people in the workout seem to be having a lot of fun, too, and Kathy's enthusiastic (yet not annoying). I just get a kick out of it, though I usually follow with a separate ab routine at the end. Yes, her twinset is a weird choice for a workout DVD, and I laughed when I saw that someone else pointed it out (glad I'm not the only one noticing these things, lol). All-in-all, this is a fun, fast cardio workout. - posted by Jamie on 12/2/2008 |

    Much Fun |
| Although I know how to dance it was still a fun workout. It's a fun way to motivate yourself to get back into working out. I did the bonus partner dancing with my husband and it was just plain fun a bit harder for him since he doesn't dance much but it was fun. Good to keep your heart pumping and get that 30 minute workout a day. - posted by Miosy on 11/15/2008 |

    Finally! |
| I was given this "tape" when a friend heard i was trying to lose weight and loved to dance. I mixed it in w/my other videos and lost over 65 pounds. While i have gained alot of it back i have continued to stay active (i will get back there again) but was bored w/my videos or they were so worn out i cant use them anymore...this is one I have been searching for on DVD. It is so fun and relaxing you forget your working out. I do this workout on friday nites and kathy's bellydancing on saturday nites before yoga. After 5 years i STILL LOVE LOVE LOVE it woo hoo! - posted by Jo Anne on 7/27/2008 |

Great music with a moderate workout |
| This is my first Collage Video and I look forward to purchasing many more. If you like the sound and rhythm of Latin music, this video is for you. The moves are authentic and the dancers are inspiring to watch. If you can't do a certain move (like the pivots), just keep doing the previous move or an easier one that you like. I ended in a pretty good sweat and ready for my next session with Kathy Smith's Latin Rhythms! - posted by Melissa on 1/7/2008 |

Great for overweight exercisers who like to dance! |
| I love this video! Not only do you get a great workout but it teaches you how to do the actual dance moves. I'm a very overweight exerciser, and I can get through this entire video comfortably. Because the choreography is not overly complicated, I find I can push myself harder and not get frustrated. This is a perfect video for when you want to work out, but your aching muscles need a slight rest. the music really gives you a great count. And because it's so dancy, I look forward to doing it. - posted by Paulette on 12/26/2007 |

FUN FUN FUN! The perfect workout when you don't feel like working out! |
| This is not a strenuous video, but it's just plain fun! On the days when I'm debating whether to workout at all, it's the perfect DVD to pull out: the music is great, Kathy is pleasant without being incessantly chatty, and the moves are easy to follow and get into. Before I know it, my heart rate is in the mid 130s, and in 40 minutes I'm in the shower! I still got a workout in and I'm in a great mood!!! I love to workout hard most of the time --and certainly there is pleasure in pushing your body-- but sometimes, it's nice to focus on the fun and do a lighter workout. - posted by Emma on 9/10/2007 |

    latina review-mom, teacher and wife-over 30 |
| I thought this video was great and fun. music was authentic and more like what you would see at a dance club. I don't put her down for her enthusiam during her dancing or cueing, that's what the music and dancing does to you.My husband and I love salsa, tejano, tropical music and we found this video fun to do together.Crunch salsa was very disappointing and bad cueing. Try Dancing with the stars cardio dance or dance off the inches sizzling salsa for fun with your kids or girlfriends. My son is only 7 and loves to learn the dance moves.... because of these shows and videos. People that are looking for intense work-out videos, should stick with aerobics videos and use these videos for toning and great fun from the normal work-out videos. - posted by marti on 5/2/2007 |

| Time-tested fun |
| I used to look down on exercise videos, but Kathy Smith changed my mind, and this video was the one that started it all. I lost 30 pounds last year by getting dance videos and memorizing their routines. All those videos are lent to friends now because the "routines" boiled down to a minute or so when done at once. Not so with this video--I still pull it off the shelf for a fun time. No, it isn't the hardest or the most authentic, but it gives me a good workout, has actual songs (instead of bleeps and bloops), and has enough variety that I don't have it memorized. Kathy misses telling you to switch to the left leg only once (the other time she doesn't say it, she clearly pats her left leg), and there is one time you move around yourself where the cueing is off. Otherwise it's on. However, why Kathy wears a sweater twinset while dancing is beyond me. I enjoyed Crunch Cardio Salsa, but it was one of the ones I memorized and moved on from. - posted by JL on 3/12/2007 |

| Just plain fun! |
| Kathy Smith makes aerobic excercise fun in this workout. I wish there were more aerobic workouts like this one. It has variety in steps and you can break a sweat if your giving it your full effort. Perhaps it is not for serious dancers, just those looking for some fun indoor aerobic variety. - posted by Lori on 12/1/2005 |

| Easy and Fun |
| This video is great for the choreographically-challenged. The steps are easy-peasy and the workout is paced so that even non-dancers can follow it. It's fun, sexy and a better workout than I expected (I did work up a bit of a sweat and felt a burn in my quads and calves). I really enjoyed this--the setting was jazz-club-like and the music reminded me of all my salsa CDs. And learning the basic steps with Kathy Smith has made me hopeful that I could try another Latin dance video and not be completely, miserably lost. So she built up my confidence, too! I do suspect it might be geared more toward the older 40 demographic in style and tone (it's classic dance, no breaking or hiphop) but that's where I land and I was looking for classic dance, so that suits me just fine. And expert dancers would be bored with the pace. - posted by Moo on 11/16/2005 |
