Yoga Zone's Flexibility & Stress Release |
    Still and Focused |
| Yoga Zone's style seems to be still, stagnant poses. It's necessary to build a little of bit of flow to encourage circulation to make the stretches even more effective. Still, this is my favorite video from yoga zone. The set is beautiful outdoors which I prefer. The poses are just challenging enough for me. I'm an early intermediate. For when I'm in the mood for still poses, it is nice to be able to just focus on them like this video allows. - posted by Cher on 1/29/2010 |

    My First Yoga Zone |
| I don't have any other Yoga Zone workouts to compare with this one, so I'm reluctant to give it 4 stars. I'm a little experienced with yoga, and I enjoyed this tape, but it seemed kind of long. Alan Finger's voice is soothing, and he is very informative, yet a little creepy. I really enjoy any video where the setting is outdoors because it "feels" like you are getting fresh air, and it makes the workout feel like it's "live". One complaint though. I felt like the title was a little misleading. I didn't feel that the true stress release and flexibility portion of the workout didn't come until the last 3rd or 4th portion of the workout. That seemed like the only section that really focused on flexibility and relaxation. The rest of the workout is great, but not so focused in my opinion. - posted by Stacey on 6/14/2009 |

    Just as advertised... |
| I did this DVD last night and found, just as the title promises, that it was great for flexibility and stress release. At the end, I felt calm, de-stressed and as though I had just had a great massage. The music and lovely tropical setting, with ducks and giant butterflies, added to the soothing atmosphere. - posted by RedPanda on 10/6/2008 |

    EXCELLENT FOR RELAXATION |
| While I've had this dvd for quite awhile, I'm just now getting around to reviewing it! I love it! Alan does talk incessantly, but I find his voice soothing and he's very informative without being intimidating. It's great not only for toning purposes, but I do the stretch/meditation often before bed just to get my mind quieted down after a long, hard day. Very relaxing and the dvd is chaptered, so you can create your own length of workout. Great buy! - posted by MRS on 1/12/2008 |

| My first and still my favorite |
| Yes, Alan Finger does speak alot, but I find his voice soothing and encouraging. And I agree with another reviewer that it's better to have him instructing you verbally (so you don't have to constantly look at the TV), and also to remind me to pull shoulders away from ears, push the sit bones back, etc. This instruction is challenging, but not too hard for a beginner. The meditation at the end is magnificent! - posted by Heather on 12/7/2006 |

| shrugs I liked it. |
| I've started doing yoga about a year or so ago. I started with Yoga Zone's beginners tape and enjoyed them and have gone from there. I just bought this Yoga Zone tape and I did it for the first time last night and I found it to be very good. Yes, Allen Finger tends to talk a lot BUT when I am in the Downward Dog pose, I really am not about to strain my neck to look at the t.v. to see what they're doing next.I enjoyed the video and when I was done I was thoroughly relaxed and in a peaceful state of mind. I would recommend this video to anyone who likes to practice yoga. - posted by Jennie on 3/20/2006 |

| Recommend to all |
| I am a beginner to yoga and bought this tape by mistake didn't notice 'intermediate' label on box. Thinking this was going to be to hard, I tried it anyway and was nicely surprised! Allen is great explaining the poses, moves and visual pictures to explain what he is teaching. It's filmed in a nice setting with calming music. Also, there are two instructors in the video that not only show what he is teaching but a modified version for those not so strong. I would agree that if you are at a intermediate level, it might be boring because Allen can get wordy. Still I would recommend this one to all. - posted by Lynn on 4/9/2004 |

| Disappointing |
| I bought this tape because "Intermediate" was marked on the box. I've been doing yoga for a little while now, and I consider myself an intermediate student who is familiar with all the beginning poses. He TALKS SO MUCH!! INTERMEDIATE students buying this tape ALREADY KNOW how to do Triangle, Cobra, etc.. We DON'T need instruction in the BEGINNING POSES. There were a FEW intermediate/advanced poses like RAVEN/CROW, but his talking was so irritating and unsoothing. I had to stop the tape a quarter through. For all the instruction, it might as well be a beginner's tape, and stronger students can try the more advanced poses. - posted by Marty on 10/14/2002 |

| Alan Finger is a great instructor |
| this is my first video by Alan Finger.
I like his down-to-earth manner & charming accent.
Also it is nice that the poses are shown in full &
modified version. the visualization segment at the end
is very relaxing. I think i'll get more of his videos. - posted by pam on 11/29/2000 |
