| Proceed with caution....... |
| For the record, I'm an advanced exerciser with a strong yoga and Pilates background. I'd agree with Collage that this is intermediate level, but only for the abs section. The back section follows the largest part of the abs work, and I question whether most intermediates would have the back and core strength to complete it safely with good form. This is NOT a video to get your back into shape if you haven't done previous stabilization work. I'm not surprised that someone injured herself doing this. For myself, I'd skip the abs section next time because I didn't find anything new or challenging there, but I'll continue to do the back section. Just be sure if you do this, to stretch thoroughly after completion. The few very briefly held stretches were a joke! - posted by Lynn on 12/27/2004 |

| Not a Safe Workout! |
| I too bought this video thinking it would strengthen my core, and while I thought it was OK, within about 2 weeks my back was feeling really sore. I do pride myself on following routines as meticulously as I can for safety reasons so I gave it to my PT to review. She normally does like Kelli Roberts' videos, but she said this one was DEFINITELY NOT a good one. Many of the exercises were unsafe and potentially damaging to the back!! | A Challenging & Good Workout |
| I just did this tape for the first time yesterday as my physical therapist said I needed to strenghten my 'core', and crunches just don't do it. The tape is about 30 minutes long and works your abs mostly, and your back. It's tough, but Keli has great cueing and is encouraging. She is a very good instructor and works out along with 2 other women on the tape. The music was good and unobtrusive. Definitely not for a beginner and even me, as an intermediate exerciser, had to rest for about 1 minute. I can feel it today and it feels good!
