    Good Overall Workout |
| I like this workout. It really gets the heart rate up and has me dripping with sweat. I know that she can be overly perky but I don't mind that. The fact of the matter is that her workouts are effective. - posted by Marie on 2/27/2013 |

Why do I keep buying her videos |
| I know Denise is well-respected and knows what she is doing, but I don't know why I keep buying her videos because I don't like her. She is typical Denise in this video. I couldn't even finish it. I think if you like Denise, you might like this workout. If you don't like her, don't bother buying it because she is as annoying as ever. - posted by Beth on 1/23/2011 |

    Good Fat Burner |
| I have owned this workout for many years and still reach for it on a regular basis. It is probably one of the very first interval-type workouts that I tried. I am on weight maintenance now, but it really helped me lose when I was in weight loss mode. I am more of an advanced exerciser now, but it still gets my heartrate up. Really like the length of the workout too. Highly recommend, especially if you are working to bust out of a plateau. - posted by Suzanne on 1/20/2011 |

Kind of old school but fun |
| This is a little dated, but fun. The 45 minutes goes by fast. Denise employs the step as part of the weight lifting and pushup routines and less as a step aerobic tool. For lower impact during the short spurts of actual step aerobics, I have the step at the lowest level and I think this can be done without a step but I have not tried it yet. The weights can be varied to make it easier or more challenging depending on your fitness level. There is not enough abdominal exercises other than planks using the steps. I have always enjoyed her all in one kind of workouts. She had a few older ones like this that are no longer available. Don't expect an advanced workout, but it can be fun to put in your rotation especially if you are like me and need a lot of workouts to keep from getting bored. - posted by Bernadette with arthritic knees on 10/2/2010 |

I thought Denise Austin would be better... |
| This is the only Denise Austin workout I own, so maybe it's not fair to judge her whole style on this one. The workout itself is good and intense (definitely intermediate), but her poor cueing makes me frustrated every time I use it. It almost seems like this video was the first time she ever did this workout. At times she is saying one thing and doing another. She also changes moves and tells you about it after the fact. And her peppiness gets to be a bit too much at times. The moves are good, and I get in a good sweat (hence the 3 stars), but just because of the instructor I rarely choose this DVD. - posted by Susan on 7/30/2010 |

Awesome Athletic Calorie Burner !!! |
| Hi, I've had this workout for some time and decided to pull it out over the weekend to try something different and I am so glad i did ! I forgot just how intense this workout really is ! I have a number of Denise's DVD's and this one ranks at the top because of it's intensity. Granted, Denise is Denise with cuing and comments (burn that butter), but if you can get past the minor glitches you will get a GREAT workout. I love the athletic flavor of the cardio if is different in each segment and hard, hard, hard...I was sweating buckets and I am a seasoned exerciser. As previously mentioned about the background exercisers, they do seem bored and in particular one (Akiba) who Denise uses as an example and she seems soooo annoyed...That was a TOTAL turn off for me. Not denise's fault though. That is why I gave this workout 4 out of the 5 stars...Everytime I see her reaction I cringe...All in all it is a keeper and I will definitely put this in my rotation... - posted by Jordan on 5/21/2010 |

Finally Denise worked me out! |
| Finally! A workout by Denise that actually had me huffing and puffing - this is it ladies! Another good workout like this one is Kathy Smith's Fat Burner step - both are similar and compliment each other. - posted by Camden Smith on 2/27/2010 |

    The time flies by |
| I just started working out with this DVD and I must say that it is much better than I expected. Denise is not so "peppy" that she's annoying, but rather keeps you motivated and really makes the workout fun. There are some step components to it, but you can do the exercises on the floor if you need to. Nice mix of cardio(kickboxing, basketball drills, skiing) which keeps it varied and challenging. GREAT warm-up and cool-down portions. I take the time to do this in the am before work because it energizes me the whole day. Thank you again Denise!!! - posted by Dawn on 1/12/2010 |
