Certified instructor description: A very well-cued video featuring recognizable, high-energy Rock and Roll hits. Upbeat and fun, you’ll barely know you’re “working out” as you’re groovin’ to classic rock tunes. This program blends aerobic favorites like mambos and step-touches with playful arm motions like “air guitar” and “play those drums.” Lots of lateral moves and directional changes. Songs include “Free Ride,” “China Groove” and “The Kid is Hot Tonight.” This 1993 IDEA Instructor of the Year makes it all easy-to-follow with her cue-ahead teaching style (so you always know what’s coming). Songs not by original artists. DVD includes a bonus 15-minute, mostly-toning workout. ©2002. DVD has: Chapter menus, Narrow screen.

Tamilee Webb's Fit to the Hits - Rock Hard Assets

Not her best
I really like Tamilee workouts, but this one just wasn't that good. The hits were hohum and there must have been something wrong with the sound system because sometimes the music seemed to fade or else Tamilee was singing too loudly that you couldn't hear the music. I'm giving this one away. - posted by Tipi on 10/9/2011
So-So
Enjoyed the music, some of the outfits were a little strange, found Tammy's singing somewhat corny, most of the routines were pretty easy to pick up but on the steps that were a little more complicated, it seemed that she didn't break them down very much, just went right into them. Overall it was fun but not a favorite. - posted by Denise on 8/22/2011
didnt care for this
i liked the music, but found it hard to follow,i like tamilee in all her 80's workout tapes and some of her 90's but i have to pass on this one, wished i had sent it back. - posted by not for me on 3/15/2010
Tons of fun!
I have found that most dance workouts are not that intense. I have also found that most do not have great music. This workout is not intense, but it does have great music and I thought it was a lot of fun. I don't think you should give a lower rating to a workout because it's not advanced - there is a need for beginner and intermediate workouts, too! Great job, Tamilee! - posted by Dissy on 12/28/2008
Fun Cardio
I agree with other reviewers that Motown Hits is just a bit better than this one, however, I like to alternate the two so I don't get bored. I like workouts with recognizable, vocal music, but unfortunately, the videos that use it are rare and pleasant music is such an important part of a workout. I consider myself advanced, so of course, I have to modify this one big time, but I don't mind. I strap on wrist and ankle weights, add lots of knee lifts and jumps, whatever it takes to get my heart rate up. I like the half-hour length and usually do it before a strength workout, but mostly just on days when I feel like doing something fun. It's greatly motivating. - posted by dusty on 10/3/2008
Good music, Easy workout
I love Tamilee, but this is not one of her best. I like workouts to music I know and that makes this a good time, but the workout is too easy. - posted by Barbara on 4/13/2008

Fun Dance Workout
I am recovering from a serious back injury and cannot do high-impact routines. This workout is fun and you can do the warm-up and then skip to various songs for a shorter workout (which I had to do at first). The arm movements got my heart rate up and the music makes you want to dance! - posted by Sharon on 1/3/2007
I Didn't Like It
I have Motown Moves and I really enjoyed that one a lot for a light day. The moves were so fun. However, the moves in this one just were strange and not fun for me. Both of them were good for light days, but Motown Moves was great and this one just seemed a bit more annoying I didn't like the choreography. The girls seem to be having a good time though and I can see how a lot of people would like this one. - posted by Leeya on 12/15/2005
Wonderful!
What a fun and energizing routine!! I love the choreography; yes, it's low impact, but the footwork is often interesting, and you can certainly raise your heartrate by pumping up the moves on your own, adding extra arm movements, etc. This one's a keeper (so is Tamilee's Motown dance workout)! Pure fun. - posted by Tammy on 7/12/2005
It's OK but not great.
I bought this video as a warm up to my toning video and for that purpose it is pretty good. It does not get my heartrate up enough to use it my cardio days. The music is pretty good but needs to be louder. The moves are OK, some of them I feel a little silly doing. I can't strongly recommend this video but it's not bad. - posted by Pamela on 3/30/2005

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
