Leisa Hart's Fit Mama Prenatal Workout |
    repetitive.. but just fine |
| I like Leisa..but the exercise has lots of repetitions and kinda boring. But I do like the fat burning yoga she has here esp the stretching part. It is very helpful for my sore back. :) - posted by zaharah on 8/16/2012 |

    Surprisingly easy is right.... |
| I did this today after trying it before and not being able to get through it. Too easy by a lot, and I'm 33 weeks. I'm still doing most of my regular videos with some modifications, but this one got so many raves I figured I'd try it for an easier workout. Just got no exercise out of it- not sure how it even qualifies as intermediate. She is pleasant enough- so if your just starting out give it a try, but otherwise, I'd skip it. - posted by Rebecca on 3/22/2012 |

    best prenatal workout |
| I am pregnant w my third child and have used many dvds, and i hate to admit, vhs tapes, and this workout is by far the best one. Simple, fun, easy to follow, somewhat repetitive but that's fine for my busy brain, i quite liked it. And Leisa Hart is a doll, i adore her style. i totally recommend this dvd for anyone. - posted by Betsy on 2/2/2011 |

    Energizing, up-beat pre-natal workout |
| Doing this workout makes me feel great, especially considering how much I've been giving in to cravings during pregnancy so far.
Leisa Hart has a really lovely, sympathetic, encouraging, and cheerful attitude in her instruction.
The separate workouts (Salsa Dance and Yoga Fat-Burn) come in 20-minute sections, making it easy to customize your daily workout depending on that day's energy level-- a must for moms-to-be and women on the go. There are also floor-work sections like a relaxing stretching section that I've definitely been enjoying.
The video and her instruction are appropriate even for beginners. She makes it so easy to feel ownership over your workout.
Although I'm only 17 weeks pregnant now, I plan to continue doing this workout until I give birth, as long as I am able. - posted by Aliza on 12/9/2010 |

Good basic workout, surprisingly really liked the yoga/strength segment! |
| I'm an advanced exerciser but I wanted to check this out because it gets great reviews & because I wanted a range of prenatal options (I've had some knee issues since 11/09 so I'm not sure what activities will & won't exacerbate that condition). I liked this - Leisa has an upbeat friendly energy & this DVD provides a variety of activities. But as an advanced exerciser, I'm glad to also supplement this DVD with time at the gym & other more challenging DVDs. The salsa is cute & fun - it was more "moving for the sake of moving" to me in the 2nd trimester but now in the 3rd trimester I DO feel myself working more during this segment (though not vigorously). I was really surprised at how much I liked the yoga fat burn!! I was expecting typical yoga & I appreciated how much strengthening there was. It was unique. I also appreciated how in the strength/belly breathing section after the yoga, Leisa guides us through ab strengthening while RELAXING our pelvic floors... pregnant women are bombarded by kegel-exercise-encouragement so I've been doing tons of those but she points out when you push, you're going to have to relax your pelvic while using your abs - good point! I appreciated all the various bits of information & encouragement she that provided throughout the workout. But yes, this is more of a light session for me. - posted by Sharon on 10/28/2010 |

Loved the Salsa but hated the rest. |
| I absolutely LOVED the salsa bit in the beginning, it was fun and I still got a good enough work out. The very end stretches are good too, but the middle "yoga burn" and the other section really weren't so fantastic, actually I found them pretty bad. Her breathing was way to fast for "deep breathing" which made it hard for me (I'm 20 weeks), it was really repetitive, quite annoying, and I didn't get much of a workout (on those sections only- and I'm just average fitness).
I liked that she was prego too, and that you had the option of doing segments or the entire video depending on your time or fitness level, I also was glad they did kegels, but I didn’t like they way they did them. She also had pretty good explanations and a calm voice... I just wish they had continued with the 5 star they started with! - posted by Amanda on 3/5/2010 |

helped me shed those baby pounds |
| I really enjoyed the salsa moves, simple and fun, combined w the yoga fat burn and the various stretch segments that were done w all three trimesters in mind. I loved seeing women of all shapes and sizes going through what I'm going thru, or at least was going through, and I really enjoyed Leisa Hart. She was calm and motivating at the same time, and her Fitmama PostNatal dvd was really really good, she is a new fav of mine. - posted by Dana on 10/7/2009 |
