Robert Sherman's Cycle Reebok

Ice Breaker
What a wonderful icebreaker at parties! This workout video will not only help you stay in shape, but will also provide you with SO MANY That's What She Said opportunities that you don't want to pass this by. - posted by Richie on 4/22/2009
the original??
Where is the original Robert Sherman video for the spinner? A wonderful workout cycling through Hawaii - I use it all the time on VHS but would LOVE to have it on DVD! Much more interesting than this format of the spinner in the studio! - posted by cathy on 11/18/2008
great workout
Just got this video after liking the other one so much. Great workout based on the physiology of strength and speed training. Lots of encouragement BUT also lots of leeway for "new" spinners. For serious exercisers, this one is terrific, too. - posted by Barbara on 8/9/2007

Decent Workout
The actual workouts are pretty good, but oh my goodness, this Robert Sherman guy cracks me up...and I don't think he's trying to! The first few times I used the DVD I kept laughing at choice expressions he would use, but now I'm used to his lameness and I rotate this video with a Spinervals DVD that blows this one away!! - posted by SpinGrl on 6/7/2005
I am returning
I will say that the workout itself is good...I was certainly sweating when finished. However, Robert Sherman was serious to the point that it put me in a bad mood. I thought he must be kidding at first. And his breathy "oh-yeahs" and "fantastics" were borderline creepy. Motivating music is impormant in a Spinning workout and the music in this video is background at best. And it didn't help that Robert Sherman NEVER stopped talking. He was much more annoying than motivating to me. I plan to return and spend my money on a workout I'll actually want to do more than once. - posted by Amber on 11/10/2004
A GREAT TIME...
I have many cycle videos, but this is the one I use the most. Robert has the tendancy to come off as a cycle instructor from South Park, but he is so enjoyable that you look past it. The ride is intense, but I recommend taking it easy when he instructs you to focus on one leg. Like seriously let up on the resistance. - posted by Kelli on 9/25/2004
Good content; bad music
Good, high-energy music is a big motivating factor in a good spin/cycle workout; unfortunately, the music on this DVD is very unmotivating. But the content of the workout is A because it really gets you sweating and gets the heart rate up. I'm dripping wet when I'm done with this DVD(and that's even with a fan blowing on me). What I've done is mute their music out and play my own motivating music. Using my own music makes the workout even better. Other than the low-budget music on this DVD, I'd still highly recommend the DVD. - posted by Fran on 9/14/2004
Inspiring and a great workout
My favorite cycling video (and I have 6). While he is a bit nerdy, he really inspires me to work harder and to feel good about what I'm doing. He also regularly takes posture, stretching and breathing breaks. - posted by Jana on 8/22/2004
super work out
I love this work out!!! Robert Sherman is great on instruction for safety and motivation so you get the most out of this workout. The only downfall is that he is so serious. I wish he was having more fun. - posted by mary desilets on 9/17/2003

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
