Certified instructor description: A well-sequenced series of multi-muscle exercises led by a no-nonsense instructor. You'll combine weight-room-style moves with quick transitions and near-aerobic pacing to build strength, stamina and endurance. Each five-minute “track” features two complementary sets of exercises (e.g. dead lifts are paired with lat rows to tone your glutes and strengthen your back muscles). Jari boosts the interest with pulses, balance moves and varied ranges of motion. She also maximizes results by carefully matching the weight level to the movement and often incorporating an optional step (e.g. stepping on and off the step while doing bicep curls). Workout is divided into two half-hour sections. Requires two sets of dumbbells (e.g. 5 and 10 lb.); a step is optional. ©2011. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Jari Love's Revved to the Max

Wow!
Jari will get you in your best shape ever. Simple to follow but very challenging to keep up. I am 55 yrs old & a fitness junkie since I was 15. Jari's workouts have "changed my body". I believe I am in better shape now then when I was in my 20's & 30's. You want results you have to try all of Jari's workouts. - posted by Jane on 9/15/2012
hhhhmmmm.....
I have several of Jari's videos, a lot of the early ripped series. I have to say I found this boring. A bit too repetitive. She is not much for interesting and innovative moves here. I ended up sending it back. Generally, I like her personality and have found other Ripped video to be solid weight work outs. Ripped to the Core is probably my favorite of hers. Only complaint there is the segments in between each move that I think are supposed to be rests. - posted by Kelly on 7/19/2012
Intermediate/Advanced
This was a wonderful workout. However, do not be fooled by the level that Collage has listed. I would say this leans more towards advanced. My legs where burning even before the workout was over. Anyone can do this, but just adjust the weight amount. Jari is one of the best!! - posted by Meg on 6/9/2012
Excellent Excellent Workout!!
I just LOVE this workout, Jari's moves flow really well, they are varied and the whole DVD is extremely motivating. Adam's moves at the end are a real killer and I modify those most of the time. I usually purchase advanced DVD's and I'm able to do them without too much trouble and I find this one quite challenging - I wouldn't call it intermediate, but it really depends on a few things like the height of your step, whether you actually use a step or not and of course the weights you use, if any. Like any good exercise routine, it can be modified. Another fantastic workout, Jari that I would highly recommend to anyone - you are one of the very best in the business. KEEP THEM COMING GIRL!!! - posted by Diane on 3/9/2012
Love Jari, but this one hurt my knees
A little over 40. Have been doing exercise vids 5 days a week for 20 years... this one hurt my knees. - posted by 20 years + on 3/9/2012
Love it
I really like this workout it is one of my favorites in the ripped workouts, it really works the legs. Love the section with Adam. Thanks Jari. - posted by Shelley on 3/7/2012
My poor back!
Having read only good things about Jari I was really eager to try one of her workouts, but after having done that I must say that I'll never do that again and that I don't even know if I'll ever give her another chance. I consider myself and intermediate/advanced exerciser and never had a problem with my lower back, but I surely felt this workout there! (and that's not a good thing at all). I think she stresses the back too much during this session and anyone with back problems should be extremely careful. I agree with other reviews, the music is boring to the max. Sorry Jari, I really wanted to like this, but no way I'm gonna put my health at risk. - posted by Sofi on 3/5/2012

Is a great workout and I can see and feel the difference in my body already. - posted by Diane on 3/1/2012
Tough, Tough, Tough!!!
Wow! What a great workout. This is one of Jaris's best in a while. I did the full hour workout and would definitely not call it Intermediate. Doing the full hour workout is definitely Int/Adv to Advanced. Loved the addition of Adam. His two sets were a killer. Keep up the tough workouts Jari! - posted by Lita on 2/27/2012
Texan loves JARI!!!!!
I have ALL of Jari's DVDs except one, and will invest in that one as well! I have only positive reviews for her. I like the fact that her DVDs are all different. Especially was REVVED great with the gorilla walks!VERY HARD. Who really cares about the outfits or how dark the set is? If that's what you're focused on, go run outside!!!!for under $20, you get a great instructor and a FUN workout WHY complain?!!!!isn't exercising suppose to make you more positive? Texas loves you JARI, and continue making different but GREAT videos!!!!!!!There ARE fit persons here in Texas:-) - posted by Sharlene on 2/11/2012

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
