Certified instructor description: Eight short segments, each with a different workout style or fitness goal. They all feature Billy's legendary energy, motivation and effectiveness. Each of the four aerobic segments emphasizes a different technique — punches/jabs, fast-footwork, varied kicks or a mix of all three motions. The three aero/tone programs blend targeted toning into classic Tae Bo fat-burning. They include both aero/tone intervals and targeted body-sculpting sequences (e.g. all upper body or all lower body). The all-toning section is primarily abs-focused. No equipment needed; Billy uses controlled moves and your own body weight for resistance. ©2012. DVD has: Chapter menus.

Billy Blanks' Tae Bo Express

Go TaeBo!!
It might be Express, but quite a workout is tucked into those few minutes! Great workouts, great variety. As a late-40's active woman I found it to be worth every minute and dollar! And as always TaeBo features real people doing real work - not a bunch of powder-puff models. Go TaeBo!! - posted by Dawn on 2/14/2013
With Billy Blanks, You Can't Go Wrong!
Eight mini-workouts where Billy once again delivers his signature Tae Bo exercises in shorter versions on his workouts. Great way to fit a little Tae Bo into your day. Especially on days when you are pressed for time. Another winner from Billy and his Tae Bo crew! - posted by Pedro on 9/30/2012
Taebo Express
This is a wonderful 8 in 1 exercise DVD! It has 8 10 minute workouts that help you customize to what you want to work or how much time you have to workout. If someone likes taebo, this should be one of their DVD's in their rotation, if not the number one to always have. - posted by Eric on 9/27/2012
Billy finally gets tough
I've been disappointed in Tae Bo because while I find the concept/moves good I feel that usually Billy pauses too much, moves too slowly and doesn't do enough reps. Not so here; he milks the most out of each ten minute segment and makes everyone give it their all! Alas, I do wish he and his video talent had freshened up a bit; it is indeed a bit disconcerting to start the workout with grubby-looking folk; you just know something is amiss when Shelley is flaming out half way through the first 10 minute segment while looking like she needs a hair and makeup check. - posted by Susan W. on 9/14/2012
Great tae bo combo
I love all the premixes and the fact you can do as many or as few as you want and get a great burn. So far the tae bo abs is my favorite it takes no time at all to feel the burn. This is a throw back to all things billy and was well worth the investment. - posted by Jamie on 8/30/2012
Good Stuff
Billy Blanks never fails me. This time just 10 minutes and you get a good workout. I have been a fan for many years. - posted by Linda on 6/7/2012
Billy Blanks Tae Bo Express
I feel this video is awesome for me. I have been working out with Billy Blanks videos for some time and love them all. This one really kicks because it is broken up into 10 minute workouts of your choice. These are high energy and I felt like I was starting over in building my endurance level to keep up with each one. I have accomplished this and just love this video!!! - posted by Sandy on 5/26/2012
Great taebo video
This DVD great if your short on time or you want workout longer. What I like about it is the arm and leg segments to work whole body and some cardio in this DVD great for tae bo lovers out there ! - posted by Tania on 4/28/2012
Awesome workout
I am a Billy Blanks fan. I own just about all his videos. I have been using his videos for over five years. This one is a must have. one of his best. this video allows you to coordinate your workout yourself. Since it is broken into several ten mins segments that focus on different body parts, one can choose which segment they want to focus on each time. You can elect to workout for 10, 20, 30, - 60mins. Billy gets straight to the workout- no wasting time. The workouts are quick and easy to follow. Both advance and beginners can truly enjoy this workout. - posted by Ms. J on 4/9/2012

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

Chapter menus
X
You can play only the individual workout segments you want by picking them off a chapter menu (one at a time).
Level
X
Beginner: Just starting out, very overweight or haven't exercised in over six months.

Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).

Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.

Aerobics impact
X
Lower Impact: Both feet never leave the ground at the same time. This minimizes stress on your knees.

Higher Impact: Includes movements like jumps, hops and skips. Very high-impact is called plyometrics.

Mixed Impact: This alternates or combines the above styles.

Aerobics choreography
X
Basic: The easiest to follow. It ranges from simple walking-style marches to sports and athletic movements.

Complex: More intricate combinations and patterns. They're ideal for people who like to dance.

Moderate: More interesting than Basic, less dancy than Complex.

Toning emphasis
X
Upper body: Arms, chest and back.

Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Total body: Tones all three of the above muscle groups.

Floor aerobics & toning
X
Definition: Includes two workout activities. The aerobics segments are fast-paced standing movements like marching, dancing and jumping. These segments require no equipment. The toning sections are slow, controlled movements working against a resistance. These may include Pilates and weight training.

Benefits: The combination of both activities provides a balanced workout. The aerobics burns calories, strengthens your heart and increases stamina. The toning builds lean muscles, increases your metabolism and makes everyday activities easier.
