Three times the fat loss of aerobics! Research shows that’s what you get by combining aerobics and weight training. Boost results with lower intensity? Did you know that you’ll get faster results for alternating super-tough workouts with not-so tough workouts? It’s true. (Research proves it.) Getting older, but not wider. Although designed especially for “over 30” exercisers, Fat Burning with Stacey Milner-Collins is perfect for everyone who wants to work out – without feeling “knocked out” and a great addition to the companion workout, Lower Body Shaping led by Kim Bartlett.

Stacey Milner-Collins leads this 45-minute workout consisting of: warm-up/stretch, 4 limbed cardio and low impact cardio, strength training, stretch/balance challenge/floor workout and abdominals.

Certified instructor description:

Originally released in 1996, this was the first "Firm PrimePower" workout. It begins with a mix of two different aero/tone formats. Sometimes they alternate aerobics and toning; other times they blend the aerobics right into the toning (e.g. lower-body kicks as you do upper-body dumbbell moves). The pure sculpting segments are all proven classics like squats, lunges, curls and dips. The program ends with lower-body and ab-focused floorwork. The music and set are different than the original Firms. This one has a "jungle" theme, complete with zebra skin rugs and some animal sounds within the music. Requires two sets of dumbbells (e.g. 5 and 10 lb.). A few moves use a high step and a workout dowel (but a regular step and broomstick would work). ©1996. FULLY CHAPTERED
