This technique not only works your legs, it also guarantees precise control of each muscle (you just can't do a sloppy movement and still maintain your balance). The moves are all traditional Pilates with the usual focus on core strength; only the position has changed from lying to standing. The workout begins with a standing yoga warm-up and ends with a gentle series of active, flowing stretches (specifically designed to elongate your muscles).
