Full Backcover Description
Getting fit is really a matter of motivation, right? That’s why Ellen created Ellen Barrett Live, a series of workout shot in her actual studio space, with her real class regulars, and in one long take – all of which helps create authentic energy, intimacy and – the big M – Motivation!
Power Fusion, the first release in Ellen’s Live series, is an all-in-one workout that fuses yoga, dance and true blue calisthenics – fusion at its most efficient, seamless and peaceful.
It feels so good, you won’t realize how hard you worked until the day after! The 45-minute workout begins with de-stress breathing focus, which preps us for 30 minutes of standing fat-burning and strengthening. The last 15 minutes are dedicated to toning muscles without bulk, especially targeting the core on the mat.
If you’re looking for a modern way to workout – one that gives energy rather than zaps it – the search is over with Ellen Barrett Live: PowerFusion.

Certified instructor description:
A flowing workout that burns calories and tones your muscles by intermixing dance, yoga and Pilates. It's an exceptionally fluid and graceful combination — the transitions are seamless and the "fusions" are natural (e.g. a warrior pose that gently evolves into a plié). All the moves have a lower-body focus. They're moderately paced, but surprisingly challenging (Ellen often includes a balance or rotation element to increase the intensity ... and results). The ending floorwork is unique; it blends traditional toning moves with muscle-lengthening stretches. Also unique: the program was shot "live," so it really seems like you're in the room with Ellen and her crew. ©2011.
