Certified instructor description:

A blend of seated and standing routines that tone and stretch all the major muscle groups. It's designed to build “functional strength,” the kind of strength that's used in everyday activities. The instrumental swing music makes it fun; Karen's smooth cuing makes it safe, comfortable and effective. You get lots of variety, from classic bicep curls and standing squats to “ankle rotations” and even some hand-to-eye coordination moves with a ball. Requires 1 to 5 lb. ankle and dumbbells, a Dyna-Band and at least one weighted ball. ©1999.
