Wow this is AMAZING!!
I've been looking for something to trim my waistline because its my biggest trouble area. I just got this DVD yesterday and did 2 of the 10 minute sections, and WOW! I loved the variety, the way you can customize the workout the way you want, and the burn you feel afterward! I do pilates daily since spraining my ankle, and this is a perfect add-on so I don't get bored while I wait for my ankle to heal. Most sections are lying down, and the others I can modify so I don't overstress my ankle. I know this may sound silly, but I've noticed results already! My stomach feels firmer, and my waistline is looking smaller. I'm definitely going to add this to my workout collection!! - posted by Noel on 6/16/2011
Great Abs!
I must admit I've had this in my collection for several months and have only just started using it. I read some of the other posts again which motivated me to give it a go. Suzanne is a great instructor. She's great at leading you through the regime and you are motivated by her manner and encouragement. I'm a curvy girl and my Abs are my biggest trouble zone. I've only tried 3 of the workouts so far but I really like what I've seen so far. I am definitely going to add these 10 minute ab workouts into my daily workout schedule as an extra workout for my abs! Challenging!
I am a huge fan of the 10 Minute Solutions and this DVD is no exception. Suzanne is a great motivator and instructor. There are five abs sections on the DVD: Flat Belly Fast, Pilates Perfect Abs, Belly Fat Blaster, Ab Ripper and Six Pack Abs. Your midsection is attacked every which way from every angle possible (the planks alone will have your abs burning in no time!). I love that the DVD allows you to customize your workout. When I am pressed for time, I do one or two segments...if I am in the mood for an all out ab workout, I do them all. Perfect for an intermediate to advanced level. - posted by Victoria on 2/19/2009
It works
I have other 10 minute workouts and have enjoyed them. This one did not disappoint me at all. There was maybe one workout that I did not like. This will definitely get you results!
I gave this video 4 out of 5 stars because I liked 4 out of the 5 10 minute segments...the segment with all the squats disappointed me...I like to do a segment before my regular workout (which involves about 45 minutes of cardio/toning)...and I was wanting all ab work not squats...but the other 4 segments are good...my favorite is the pilates section and I noticed results in about 2 weeks! - posted by T on 5/20/2008

The perfect mix of ab workouts!!!
This dvd is one of my greatest purchases ever! It has the perfect mix of ab moves! My favorites are the Flat Belly Fast (planks, etc) and Abs Ripper (Suzanne's fave moves). Reading a Time Graph

Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

At the beginning of your workout, you can select the exact segments you want to play that day. The DVD will then play all those segments in the order you chose.
Level

Beginner: Just starting out, very overweight or haven't exercised in over six months.

Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).

Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.

Aerobics impact

Lower Impact: Both feet never leave the ground at the same time. This minimizes stress on your knees.

Higher Impact: Includes movements like jumps, hops and skips. Very high-impact is called plyometrics.

Mixed Impact: This alternates or combines the above styles.

Aerobics choreography

Basic: The easiest to follow. It ranges from simple walking-style marches to sports and athletic movements.

Complex: More intricate combinations and patterns. They're ideal for people who like to dance.

Moderate: More interesting than Basic, less dancy than Complex.

Toning emphasis

Upper body: Arms, chest and back.

Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Total body: Tones all three of the above muscle groups.

Floor aerobics & toning

Definition: Includes two workout activities. The aerobics segments are fast-paced standing movements like marching, dancing and jumping. These segments require no equipment. The toning sections are slow, controlled movements working against a resistance. These may include Pilates and weight training.

Benefits: The combination of both activities provides a balanced workout. The aerobics burns calories, strengthens your heart and increases stamina. The toning builds lean muscles, increases your metabolism and makes everyday activities easier.
