Time graph for 10 Minute Solution Tone Trouble Zones!

Each 10-minute segment uses a resistance band to sculpt specific body areas (the DVD comes with a 6-foot band). You’ll get the ideal resistance for every routine simply by changing how the band is held. The sections can be programmed to play in any order. Each one is completely body-part targeted: upper body, arms/shoulders, lower body, abs and total body. But it’s never repetitive — within each segment, you get a fast-moving medley of varied moves (e.g. the lower-body sculpting includes multiple standing, lying and seated exercises). Amy Bento’s one-on-one cuing is friendly, energetic and detailed; you’ll always know exactly how to hold the band for maximum results. ©2007. (52 min.). DVD has: Programmable chapters.

10 Minute Solution Tone Trouble Zones!

Great workout
Amy Bento doesn't waste anytime here! Yeah, its a little fast but after doing the dvd a few times you know what's coming next and can maneuver your band to be ready. I usually do the Firm's fat burning workout and then do this dvd, usually the arms, abs and stretch sections. It's a great combo together! - posted by Lisa on 7/25/2008
not her best
Amy is a good instructor, but this is not one of her best. Her NRG Fitness workouts are better value for workout time. This is OK for days when you feel like some light strength work without too much equipment. - posted by Leanne on 7/24/2008
I really like the Instructor
I like this workout. I usually use it after a cardio workout, when I don't want to spend a ton of time strength training. I probably wouldn't do it alone. All of these 10 minute solutions work really well as "ad-ons" to a walking/running routine. The ab section is the most challenging for me, but I really like the upper body portion as well. The instructor is my favorite part. She seems genuine and real; she's encouraging without being over the top like so many other instructors. I feel like she's just a normal instructor and someone I would meet on the street. I dread doing some of my other workouts because of the fake pep of the instructor. So believe it or not, that's what keeps me coming back! - posted by Janie on 6/29/2008
too fast?
I had not done any of the 10 minute solutions dvds before. Her warmup isnt very much; and she goes from one move to the next a little too fast for me. - posted by vanessa on 6/6/2008
i liked it
i agree that it's not the most challenging on your muscles but you can vary the intensity by shortening the band or using a higher resistance resistance band (i think the grey ones are the strongest?). usually i hate strength training and really have to push myself to do it so this dvd is great for me on those days when i feel like blowing it off: i can do this dvd instead, telling myself "i'll just do 10 minutes" but end up doing the whole thing! - posted by annie on 6/4/2008
Really enjoyed this one!
I agree with the previous review -- there is only so much you can do with a resistance band, but it's pretty innovative how many different exercises are done with it! The time flew by because of the variety, and this DVD is great for people on the go! I bring it with me when I travel. Also really liked Amy Bento. This is the first DVD I've bought of her and really enjoyed her no-nonsense but upbeat personality. A great time-saving routine! - posted by M.K. on 5/25/2008
Just O.K.
I have done this workout a couple of times hoping that I would begin to enjoy it, but it isn't for me. I really don't think any of the exercises are much of a challenge. There is only so much you can do with a band, unlike weights where you can increase the weight you are lifting once it becomes too easy. I do like Amy and think she is a great instructor, but I would say this video is for more of a beginner exerciser. The stretch part is good but there are other videos that have a great stretch section as well as a great workout. - posted by Nicole on 4/23/2008
Great for Travelers
I have to travel for work and this is perfect for me to do in my hotel room on the laptop after using the hotel treadmill. The ab segment is my favorite - I really feel it! - posted by Tracy on 4/1/2008
Not For Me
I did not like this DVD at all. I try doing some of the exercises and i found it just to boring. Im sure there probably some benefits to these exercises she does. But i was to bored to get through them. So it was not a good one for me. Also, I did not like the lime green band at all and it smelled. I could not wash the smell out and it made my whole room smell. - posted by MK on 3/25/2008
Worth every cent!
This workout is fanstic and moves quickly. I use it 4 times per week and my body feels the work. The band is much easier to work with over weights. Amy is so pleasant to train with and is very motivating. - posted by Jenny on 3/5/2008

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
