10 Minute Solution: Ultimate Boot Camp |
    Tough Bootcamp Style Workout |
| My favorites in this workout are the total body, upper body, and lower body. It's amazing to me that I can be sore the day after doing a 10 minute lower body workout that uses only body weight but it happens. The other two sections uses some cardio bursts and compound moves to hit multiple muscle groups at once. The cardio section is higher impact and tough and the ab workout is very hard for me~I can definitely grow into that one. Two Thumbs Up! - posted by Elaine on 12/13/2011 |

    Great Workout! |
| I loved this workout. This is my first workout with Jessica and the workout is a really good total body one. Good cardio and toning. First newer workout I've done that actually has a good ab section. - posted by Charlie on 12/2/2011 |

    Fun! |
| I found this workout to be fun and challenging with not a second of wasted time. Jessica does include some moves I've never seen before. My HR stayed up during the whole thing. My SO did laugh out loud at some of the silliness- Jessica repeatedly refers to you as soldier and makes other similar comments but I was working too hard for it to be a distraction. I found 30 minutes of this more challenging and fun than Jackie's Xtreme Timesaver, another new one I tried recently. Recommend! - posted by Melissa on 1/23/2011 |

LOVE this one! Fun & Unique |
| This is a bootcamp-esque dvd by 10 Minute Solutions, led by Jessica Smith, who works out alone in a nice wide open set. This dvd includes cardio and strength moves. There are five 10 minute segments that you can use individually or mix and match to create a 10-50+ minute workout. You will need a few sets of dumbbells for some of the segments.
I did all 5 segments this morning and got a great cardio and a great strength workout! The segments go by FAST and each segment got/kept my heartrate up. Jessica does an awesome job leading and all the moves have a fresh & unique feel to them without being complicated or confusing. I felt my muscles being worked in a different way than traditional strength training moves. She adds in agility moves and balance work as well. There is a definite functional feel but you are able to heavy up-the best of both worlds.
FAT FIGHTING SKILLS & DRILLS: is a fun and unique cardio workout that really got my heartrate up and got me sweating from the get go-jumping jacks, squat thrust variations, "mud crawling." The moves are all athletic and straightforward with a definite bootcamp feel to them. Loved this section-no wasted time. 10 minutes WELL spent.
ULTIMATE UPPER BODY TRAINING: Includes some cardio and explosive moves to keep your heartrate up. I used a few dif sets of dumbbells. The moves were unique and had a functional feel to them, wood chopping, sand bag carrying, pushup and walking plank variations, Mt. climbers, etc. My UB will feel this tomorrow. My core was working in many of the moves-nice bonus.
ULTIMATE LOWER BODY TRAINING: This segment is unweighted but there are enough reps and she goes low into them so I didnt even use dumbbells though you could if you felt the need. There are some jumping squats and plyo lunges that will get your heartrate up and my legs were burning by the end of the 10 minutes. She also incorporates some balance work and bun squeezes. This segment is all done standing.
ULTIMATE TOTAL BODY TRAINING: This segment is full body strength work using a heavy pair of dumbbells. My heartrate was up the entire time and there are some straight cardio & agility moves as well. Again, there were some unique moves in here. A squat with a bicep curl into an overhead press, an explosive front raise into an overhead tricep extension, & pushups.
SIX PACK AB ATTACK: starts with some standing ab work and then goes down to the floor for crawling planks, plank twists, side planks, crunch variations, and sit up variations. My abs were fried by the end of this. Unique and fun and kept in the bootcamp spirit.
I would rate this a high intermediate AWT (aerobic weight training) workout. I love workouts that provide enough strength work to count as a strength day but burn enough calories to count as a cardio day-this dvd did just that! This dvd is an excellent addition to my (large) workout collection. I love bootcamp workouts and have many of them but this one really is unique! I see myself reaching for this often as a whole or in pieces. There is really no wasted time here! - posted by lindseylu8 on 12/28/2010 |

    FANTASTIC!! A MILLION STARS!!! |
| I find this workout to be more advanced than intermediate. That is O.K. by me. I love Jessica and have alot of her workouts. She is very personable without being overbearing and her cueing and moves are great. The first time I did this, I intended to do the entire workout but could only make it through the first 3 segments. The first segment really kicks you into gear. It is just nonstop, no nonsense cardio drills. I like the variations of pushups and the legwork and abwork do not disappoint. There is no dread factor at all as each segment is totally different. I hope that Jessica comes out with an Ultimate Bootcamp 2!!!! - posted by Jillsherry on 12/14/2010 |

    good workout, challenging moves |
| I just did this workout for the first time yesterday and my lower body (quads and glutes) is sore! I'm 47 years old and exercise daily, and I found this workout challenging. I did the whole DVD as one workout rather than breaking it into shorter workouts, it's a good length and I was tired at the end. Jessica is motivating and there are some really interesting moves. Looking forward to doing this again! - posted by Suzanne on 10/24/2010 |

great workouts in 10 minutes! |
| Jessica is enjoyable to work out with. The military jargon is a little silly but I can overlook that. What I like is I can custom make my workout depending on how much time I have and what I want to work on. I can choose to work on my abs for 10 minutes when I want to do a super short workout--but what a workout it is! Very tough, feels like I'm getting the maximum out of those 10 minutes. Or I'll do a 30 minute workout--the cardio "fat fighting skills and drills" is good and the right amount of difficulty for me. The "ultimate total body training" is good too, just tough enough for me. I think the cuing is a bit vague, (for Ultimate total body workout) that's why I gave this workout 4 stars. Haven't done the "lower body training" yet. I'm an intermediate to advanced level exerciser but recently my knees have started being a bit sore, so "10 Minute Solutions was just what I was looking for. Thanks, Ultimate Boot Camp! - posted by marquita on 8/9/2010 |

    ADVANCED!!! |
| This killed me, and I can do the 10 min. solutions knockout body all the way through...so IMO this is definitely an advanced workout, and an excellent toning workout. I plan on alternating this with Jessica's knockout body dvd with yoga in between each to stretch and recover...HOLY MOLEY! - posted by Meghana on 7/27/2010 |

    A great overall workout |
| This is a great bootcamp that incorporates cardio with strength moves. With different, yet effective exercises it will get you to break a sweat. My favourite segments are the Abs and the Legs ( my butt hurt in a good way for two days)It is fast paced but thats what bootcamps are!!Definitely a keeper.:) - posted by Brittni on 7/26/2010 |

    High Intermediate/Advanced |
| Great workout, but be warned that the first segment is very high impact. I prefer to keep my impact low to moderate to prevent knee issues in the future, but even with my modifications I still got an excellent workout. Lower body moves consist of squats and lunges, upper body moves consist of pushup variations such as arms wide, arms narrow, and staggered hand pushup. Jessica does most on her knees, but I did them on the toes to make it more advanced, changing the staggered to spider.
Be prepared to move quickly, she wastes no time whatsoever. I found myself confused and having to play catchup but that's ok because once I get the hang of it I'll be thankful for that. - posted by Sadie on 7/24/2010 |
