Certified instructor description: An elegant, graceful program entirely based on four proven toning exercises. Designed to improve strength, balance and flexibility, it integrates ballet, yoga and traditional fitness techniques. Each segment begins with a body-sculpting classic (e.g. a squat). That movement is then transitioned into a fluid dance-inspired sequence (e.g. a smoothly flowing plié/squat). Finally, it all culminates in a calming, “active recovery” yoga variation (e.g. chair pose with a calf raise). Throughout, Shannon Griffiths-Fable’s presentation is excellent; she makes even a basic push-up look refined. ©2006. DVD has:

improved my range of motion |
| challenging yet doable, i felt stretched and strengthened when i was done; nice break from weights, good for increasing my diminished flexibility too - posted by liz on 8/11/2011 |

    Easier than Beyond Balletone |
| This is an easier workout than Beyond Balletone but when I'm in need of a lighter workout, this works for me. It's an intro to the more challenging DVD but helps with balance and other concepts. Due to an arthritic hand & wrist, I can't do the upper body section of planks but I wish I could. This section probably bumps up the level from a beginner's workout to an intermediate. The lower body workout is for a beginner. - posted by Christine on 3/3/2011 |

Wonderful Toning and Stretch Exercises |
| This DVD is a wonderful alternative to typical tone and stretch exercises. Based predominately on ballet principles, the exercises are challenging and leave me feeling more centered and relaxed(I find the balance sections particularly refreshing). There is a lot of variety packed in so the time goes very quickly. - posted by Mary on 9/7/2010 |

    Great Lower Body Toning! |
| I have had this DVD for over a year and I still do it all the time!It is one that I travel with, as it does not require much space,is easy to do in a hotel room, and you don't need any equipment (doesn't even require tennis shoes!). The workout does not seem very difficult as you are doing it, but you really feel the results the next day. This is great if you don't feel like doing too much of a strenuous or long workout, but still want to do something effective in a short amount of time. I also like to add this on for some great lower-body toning after a cardio workout.Very calming and easy to follow. I also love that it doesn't really feel like you are in a ballet class, but that it uses ballet-inspired movements to create excellent toning excercises. I just ordered her new DVD, and I can't wait to try it! - posted by Janet on 6/15/2008 |

| Smooth, flowing toning |
| The instructor is wonderful in this! She smoothly guides you into some slow ballet and traditional toning (a squat, for example) and then increases the pace and changes it up with some arm movements. It definitely requires a lot of strength and balance. The emphasis is mainly on toning the legs, but there is an upper-body sequence at the end which is just as smooth and fun to do (yoga plank, a couple down-dog poses, and some push-ups). I can't do all of the upper-body sequence - my weakness, but I at least modify or try what she is doing. Overall, an excellent dance-inspired toning workout! - posted by Andrea on 10/7/2006 |

| Very nice! |
| I enjoyed this one very much. There is an emphasis on ballet, yoga and balancing moves and the workout has a great flow to it. Shannon does a terrific job leading this one, also. Two thumbs up from me! - posted by Tammy on 5/27/2006 |
