Certified instructor description: A straight-forward yoga workout led by New York yoga expert Mike McArdle. The program is divided into four segments so it's easy to choose a workout length to match your schedule. It primarily features classic yoga flexibility moves like Sun Salutations, Warriors and Chair Poses. However, Mike also includes a few toning exercises like push-ups and ab curls. The workout ends with a relaxing series of pure athletic stretches (both static and dynamic). It all feels like a real personal trainer yoga session — filmed in Bethenny's home with lots of casual back-and-forth banter. A few moves are advanced level (e.g. balanced on one leg). ©2011. GREAT YOGA WORKOUT! |
| I love this workout even though this is an intermediate workout it's hard and I love it. A lot of the poses are different than what I am used too and I love it. Awesome Awesome workout! - posted by Heather on 2/2/2012 |

I love Bethenny but do not really like this dvd. |
| I do not like this dvd. I love Bethenny and her tv show and I also have her first dvd and I enjoy that one. Was not feeling it with this one at all. - posted by Ali on 12/25/2011 |

    UNIQUE! |
| I have to admit, I did not like this w/o the first couple times I tried it. When I think of yoga, I think of beautiful, outdoor scenery with the instructor mentioning a certain pose and me complying. This workout is very opposite! However, I find it very unique--it's filmed in Bethenny's house w/ an implication of it being a yoga class with a personal trainer. The banter between the two was a little irritating but did seem to grow on me the more I did the workout. And a certain phrase in the bonus stretch totally cracks me up every time I do it, but basically is a great stretch in 12 min. (Although I remember to put the "other" leg in front to stretch it before signing off). ;) I also like the fact that the practices are short as I like to add them on to workouts in place of the final stretch. No, it's not my favorite yoga workout, but it definitely has a place in my collection when wanting something a little different in the way of stretching. - posted by MRS on 12/19/2011 |

    Good workout |
| I liked this new dvd from Bethenny, it has some unique poses that are a little more challenging in comparison to her first yoga dvd. However,I will say it does not "flow" like other yoga workouts. This is not bad or good imo, but just something to consider if that is what you are looking for. I do like the 3 shorter segments for those days when I just want to do a little something and not commit to a 40 minute workout. I also agree with another reviewer that she talks a bit too much at times. It only REALLY frustrates me when I am holding a pose anxiously waiting for the instructor to lead us into a different pose, except he can't, because he is waiting for Bethenny to finish talking. Other than that little annoyance it is overall a pretty good workout... - posted by Kristie on 12/16/2011 |

Unique and will be well-used! |
| Wow! I'm surprised at the negative feedback. I loved this workout. I thought it was very original and an amazing mix of toning and stretching...work and relaxation. I didn't mind the chatter as all workouts don't need to be quiet. It felt real to me, but mostly I just liked the practice itself. I also enjoyed having shorter time frames. - posted by Shelley on 12/13/2011 |

I liked the first dvd better. |
| I love her first dvd. I have done that one many times. This one I did not even finish and did not care for at all. I like the instructor in the first one better also. This one kind of bores me and did not enjoy these poses. - posted by Kelli on 12/12/2011 |

    do not buy |
| I bought this DVD without having seen a preview of it. I wish I had waited and checked it out because I would not have bought it. She talks so much throughout this workout that it gets in the way of the guy's instruction. It does not flow, it is not relaxing, and it is not easy to follow. The woman's constant conversation and comments really get in the way of this workout and the instructor's cueing is not very good either. There is also a dog that comes in and out of the screen which is distracting. I can't tell you if this workout is effective because I was so bothered by Bethanny's constant talking that I couldn't finish the workout. I don't recommend this. - posted by wendy on 12/11/2011 |
