Time graph for The Biggest Loser: Weight Loss Yoga
These fast-paced, yoga-inspired moves all have a distinct muscle-toning emphasis. No yoga “spirituality” here — Bob Harper keeps the focus on body-changing results (you’ll be sweating, just like the TV show contestants on this DVD). The video has three levels — you can start with a basic 34-minute workout or advance to the 51 or 61-minute pre-programmed options. The first section is classic yoga. The second integrates core-targeted Pilates moves. The third uses dumbbells for maximum intensity (e.g. bicep curls during a Warrior pose). Detailed instruction and no-nonsense encouragement. Requires 1 to 5 lb. dumbbells; a medicine ball is optional. ©2008. DVD has: 3 premixes (30 to 50 min. alternate workouts), Programmable chapters, Close captions, Region 1.

The Biggest Loser: Weight Loss Yoga

Results!
I have completed the maximum results menu on this dvd. Level 1 for two weeks. Level 1, 2 for two weeks. Level 1, 2, and 3 for two weeks. I have lost a total of 10 pounds in 6 weeks. I did this dvd five days a week. I went down 4 inches around my chest. I dropped 2 inches off my jean size. If you stick with it and keep a food journal, you will see results!! GREAT DVD!! - posted by Kristin on 8/3/2010
Yoga for Body Strength
I have been doing this workout for about a month now. I split the workouts up and add one to the end of my weight or cardio workouts. It is working. My strength has improved, my arms are very toned and my legs and core get worked. . Bob does a good job to motivate me and the moves do work. I am glad I bought this DVD. - posted by Teresa on 7/14/2010
Excellent...BUT...
Okay. I've never done yoga before and I got this DVD because my boss swears by it and she looks amazing. THIS IS SOOO HARD! The cuing is excellent, the instruction is good and the yoga is great (so are the results). But this is where I think I'm high maintenance: I CAN'T STAND BOB'S VOICE and I think he's silly. I don't know how else to put it but once I figure out how to do all of these yoga poses in the correct sequence and for the right amount of time, I'm turning the sound off so I don't have to listen to him. - posted by Shannon on 6/26/2010
good yoga weight loss video
good yoga/weight loss work out, we mostly do the whole video but can use the shorter ones when we don't have time. We have lost weight using this combined with the boot camp video and we are stronger and have more stamina. Bob is a little irritating but does keep one on track and that is what counts. - posted by nan bell on 6/24/2010
hard on joints
I was so excited to receive this workout today, only to be sorely disappointed! This workout was hard on my joints. I will try it again with modifications, but I can't keep this one in my regular rotation. Also, the third workout was my favorite, and it's too bad that it lasts for only 10 minutes. - posted by Ms on 6/15/2010
AWESOME!
I love this video! I am an intermediate level exerciser, and although I don't get to work out daily, I need something that is challenging. I've tried but never caught on with yoga for this reason. Bob's version is challenging with good cues and just enough corny humor to make me smile while trying to hold my Warrior 2 pose. My only recommendation would be to show more of the folks doing the modified poses (they are in the far corners and the camera rarely shows them). - posted by Alyson on 5/26/2010
GREAT All over workout!
I have been using workout videos at home since Jane Fonda and this is my first yoga and I love it! Great overall workout and I felt it in the abs for several days! - posted by Paula on 5/20/2010
Superb
****** Highly Recommended. Good intense workout. - posted by Ahmed on 3/23/2010
Fantastic!
I am an intermediate exercise and I have a fair amount of yoga DVDs and this one is my favorite. Bob does an excellent job cueing, the workouts are tough but not daunting and the cool down is really laid back and enjoyable. I wish Bob would produce more DVDs, he really is an excellent trainer. My favorite workout on this DVD is the Yoga strength; it is a 10 minute workout that packs a punch. - posted by Shay on 2/28/2010
LOVE YOGA NOW!
I have tried several yoga videos and have enjoyed the stretch but never felt like it was a workout. I LOVE this video! I love how strong my body has become as well as defined AND it really feels like a workout. I hope he continues to make more of these yoga videos. - posted by Andrea on 2/24/2010

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.

Premixes
X
These are alternate workouts created by the manufacturer. They use the same content as the main program (i.e. the very same video footage). But the sections are re-edited into pre-made alternative workouts that you select from a menu. These are often condensed versions of the main workout.
Programmable chapters
X
At the beginning of your workout, you can select the exact segments you want to play that day. The DVD will then play all those segments in the order you chose.
Region 1
