Certified instructor description: A well-cued Tae Bo workout with a genuine ab-toning emphasis. It’s a solid waistline-trimmer that combines kickboxing’s empowerment with Billy Blanks’ motivation. The first section uses core-focused variations of classic Tae Bo moves. Some examples: a roundhouse kick where your foot doesn’t drop to the floor. Or a punch thrown across your body (instead of just forward). Both moves naturally require total abs engagement. The floorwork section features traditional core exercises like planks, crunches and bicycles. DVD includes a 12-minute Tae Bo tutorial. Clear, well-paced instruction. ©2010. DVD has: Wide screen.

Billy Blanks' Tae Bo Insane Abs

LOVE it!
This is a GREAT ab workout.... I have this along with Billy's older "Bootcamp abs", and although quite a few of the moves are the same in both videos, this one is longer and gets your heartrate up a lot more. Its crazy how fast you start to see results. I actually can see my muscles in my abs now, which I never have before. HIGHLY recommend this video - posted by JB on 3/26/2012
ROCKED!!
billy you rock! i totally love, love this workout! i am literally dripping with sweat from beginning to end. these routine totally rock my abs and i am seeing results within 1wk following a decent diet. Try it! you won't be sorry :) - posted by jojo on 1/21/2012
Great workout!
I really like this workout. I wore my heart rate monitor and managed to burn close to 500 calories, not only is it great for the abs but you really get your heart rate up there. - posted by Nikki on 10/9/2011
I needed Insane Abs to get my Abs in shape for the first time!
For all my life, I neglected my body infavor of focusing on my mind. Finally, at the age of 72 I started working out and showed modest progress quickly but I reached a plateau largely because I don't have access to gyms or personal trainers. rather than give up entirely I bought Billy Bo's Insane abs and started using this 30minute daily workout to blast through my plateau. IT WORKED! NOT ONLY DO i "FEEL THE BURN IN MY ABS" for the first time, but I have also seen more weight & inches lost in the 3 weeks I have been using INSANE Abs - posted by BUD on 9/29/2011
Great ab workout
This DVD contains a great mix of interesting standing abs and floor work. In spite of the "intermediate" rating, I felt that some of the moves on the floor were quite advanced. The tempo in spots was so fast that you also get your heart rate up nicely. Billy and his crew are fun and motivating. I am a 41 year-old high intermediate/advanced exerciser who works out 6-7 days per week, and I will definitely keep this DVD in my mix. - posted by Jennifer B. on 9/4/2011
Fair workout.
I love Tae Bo and this was a challenge. I really liked the standing abs but can't say the same for the floor work. He gives you pointers on how to hold your neck and chin and it just felt awkward, and, the cardio pushes on the floor work just didn't flow. I had to stop on most of the floor work because the chin position and pushes forced me into bad form. I would have liked it better if it was all standing or if the floor work was all slow and controlled. - posted by kelly on 9/3/2011
Disappointing
I hate exercise videos that have mistakes. Did no one notice or care when they edited the video? It is a small part where he brings his knee up when he didn't do it for the other leg. That said it is a decent workout. I felt it was too easy but felt sore both time I have done it. - posted by Anna on 4/24/2011
Great video!
This is a classic Tae Bo tape, with good cueing and encouragement. I bought it as a toning tape, but it raised my heart rate and I definitely built up a sweat, so I am using it in my regular workout time, not as an extra. As with other Tae Bo tapes, some of the reps are very fast. It is an excellent abs workout; I would definitely recommend this tape. - posted by Nancy on 4/14/2011
