Cathe Friedrich's Cardio Hiit |
I love this HITT video. |
| I'm an insanity and turbo fire graduate and this video is at par with those workouts. I love the fact that they are just 30 minutes long and the stretch at the end of the workout is amazing! The innovation of this HITT workout is that it uses the platform and really pushes you to jump higher when you do plyometrics. I love that Cathe never takes a break during the HITT. She is there ALL the way. When I used the highest step I burn and raised my heart rate more than insanity and turbo fire. I love this HITT workout!!!! - posted by Jenny on 5/18/2012 |

    Excellent workout! |
| Excellent workout! Cathe delivers, as always. Very easy to follow -- Cathe also gives intensity modifications if you need them. Great for those wanting to get an intense workout in a short period of time. - posted by Kathy on 4/27/2012 |

Just an awesome workout to push to new levels |
| Great workout that pushes you to new levels. Easy to follow. The only thing that would be better is if they did longer workouts. But you can do two of them! Love Cathe workouts! - posted by Terri on 4/20/2012 |

    Excellent |
| Love this DVD. The time goes by very fast. It is a high energy workout that doesn't take up a lot of time. The only downside of this workout is that it doesn't incorporate much upper body moves. If you want a high intensity workout and you are short on time, this is perfect. - posted by Kim on 4/19/2012 |

    Love Cathe's HIIT |
| I'm a long-time fan of Cathe's videos, but I had a long spell of inactivity (no injury, just got lazy) and weight gain. Now 70 pounds lighter, I'm working my way back to more intense workouts, starting with my older step videos. Cathe's HIIT DVD is good for me, because it's not easy. I can't quite keep up with all the moves, so that means I have room to improve, and the workout won't get stale. - posted by Celia on 1/26/2012 |

No-nonsense cardio gets straight to the point and nets the biggest bang for your buck |
| Finally, I found the challenge I need without the non-negotiable baggage associated with most other advanced level cardio videos. Why have I waited so long to buy it? While I doubt I'll ever enjoy cardio as much as weight training, this is now my first choice on my power cardio days. And with each workout at half an hour, including warmup and cool down, it eliminates the dreaded time factor. I would rather take 15 minutes of sucking air that builds both aerobic and anaerobic capacity than 45 minutes of mental boredom or frustration, wondering if I wasted my time and effort. You perform a set of a simple movement during the blast time interval only once (or, if applicable, a second set with its mirror version during the following blast time interval) and you move on to the next set of movements. I meant simple as opposed to complex, not simple meaning easy, because it's not easy. The music is decent enough to motivate me to move, and Cathe strikes a good balance of making it fun and making you work hard at the same time. And I still have time to add another workout if I wanted to. I'm too distracted with my breath during the workout to care about the stage set or the crew moseying around during the rest intervals; I usually grab a gulp of water instead. Although the warmup is a typical step routine, which I'm not generally a fan of, it's only in the warmup so I'm not concerned about trying to get all the steps right. I did have to deduct one star for the repetitiveness of the music, and that it's more high-impact than I would like; I prefer a mix of high and low as it can be hard on the joints, but it's fairly easy to modify. - posted by S on 12/3/2011 |

Great workout in a short amount of time! |
| I am an intermediate to advanced exerciser, so I really enjoy the challenge of this DVD. I like that there are 3 options on the DVD, so you can work your way from the "easiest" (none of them are easy) to the hardest. I wore my HRM during this and I burned as many calories as running 2-3 miles. Definitely a great winter workout! - posted by Molly on 11/15/2011 |

    So-so |
| Cathe, I'm such a fan of yours and I love Hiit workouts, but this one just wasn't a favorite. For starters, the warmup has a lot of step choreography which I am not a fan of. The workout itself was just fine. I ordered Supreme 90 at the same time and there is absolutely no comparison--I like 90 so much better. - posted by Jennifer on 11/15/2011 |

    intense |
| As hiit workouts go.. this is great. I've done programs like Insanity, turbo fire, etc.. so I'm used to high intensity workouts..this one ranks up their with insanity as far as intensity goes... I like that it is broken into 3 segments so you can do 30mins when you don't have a lot of time or go for 1 hr when you want a challenge.. - posted by chenag on 10/27/2011 |
