Country Dancing for Beginners

you won't break a sweat with this exercise
I like country western dancing, and so looked forward to some lessons. The instruction, while shown several times, was still hard to follow. All the moves were taught at one time in each segment. I would liked to have seen each step of each movement gone through in slow motion. (The easiest dance was the 2-step, though, and that was easy to pick. The male dancer was the primary one, with all steps shown for him. Then the female partner joins in. Things get to moving too quickly, and you feel lost if you didn't pick up on the steps the first time through. Having said that, following the dance steps in this DVD would be good for someone who might be on a restricted exercise program (e.g., after an injury or surgery), where the activity is no impact. It gets you moving, but certainly not anything that will burn any significant number of calories. - posted by Marsha on 3/30/2011
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
