Certified instructor description: Gentle moves selected to “release tension piece by piece, breath by breath.” The moves are all genuine yoga but Sara Ivanhoe’s focus is breathing, flexibility, looseness and relaxation, not achieving the perfect pose. It begins with a very gentle “warm-up” stretch and it ends with just-plain-relaxation. Don’t be confused by the title; the set isn’t dark — it’s light and airy with brightly glowing candles. Quiet instrumental music with some soothing nature sounds (e.g. gurgling water, soft rain). DVD includes a bonus 15-minute workout. ©2002. DVD has:

    Yoga Video |
| I am new to yoga and this video is a great intro. Very relaxing and not overwhelming. - posted by M. Tyler on 12/18/2011 |

    Peace and quiet |
| So glad to have this! This is great after any busy day. Great way to relax and find "me" time. Sara's voice is almost trance-like. I like when she says, "there is nothing to see on the screen, so just close your eyes." Wonderful. - posted by Dawn on 10/6/2011 |

    Candlelight Yoga |
| Loved this for relaxing & stretching - recommend this for a easy-going, non-stress workout. Would definitely recommend it if that is your goal. - posted by Sue on 2/17/2011 |

    Soothing indeed |
| As you have probably guessed, this is strictly a relaxation style yoga, not a workout. There is also a shorter wakeup routine included. This is probably my favorite Crunch set with the white draperies and less harsh lighting. There are indeed candles but it's also lit so don't worry about it being too dark. Sara Ivanhoe gives great cuing and form tips and I especially like that it when she tells you not to worry about looking at the screen. I find whenever I'm doing a workout with extended periods where I'm not facing the screen, I have to keep checking back to make sure I'm not missing anything. No moves are too complicated here. - posted by Vanessa on 1/3/2011 |

Yoga by candel light should be a must have for any high stress person |
| Very nice relaxing yoga. You hold the positions and do breathing for longer than most yoga sessions which works really well to wind down after a long day. Perfect destressor. Would recommend it to anyone with too much stress but not enough time to unwind, this DVD does a very good job of it. - posted by Marina on 11/11/2010 |

Good for before bed relaxation |
| I like this workout sheerly for relaxation and end of day stretch to center myself before bed. I am new to yoga and am trying to incorporate it into my exercise routines 3 times a week, and I prefer to do yoga in the morning. This routine is a little slower paced and more suited to be an end of day winding down routine. - posted by Ellyn on 7/27/2010 |

    Best Stretching Video Ever |
| I really like this video for days when I am sore and need to stretch out. It is very relaxing and in does NOT incorporate any strenuous poses, so it is great for "light" workout days or "rest days." This is also a good video for someone who is new to yoga or is looking to get back in shape. I enjoyed doing this video when I was "out of shape" and overweight, and now that I'm totally fit again I still enjoy doing it. - posted by Liz on 4/22/2010 |

    Great Video! |
| I am very new to yoga and was looking for something calming and doable. This video is great! The moves are simple (I will eventually progress to more difficult), the atmosphere is relaxing, and the direction is perfect. Great video for beginners! - posted by Lesli on 3/23/2010 |

    Great stress reliever! |
| This video is perfect if you are new to yoga, looking to relieve stress or are recovering from an injury. I am an advanced exerciser (6 days a week) and overtaxed my back. I pulled this out of my archives and love the slow pace, the consistency of Sara's instruction, and the way it has gently loosened up my muscles. Even though I can't sweat like crazy, I feel refreshed, renewed, and relaxed. A must have DVD to keep for any time you need a great stretch and a nice instructor. - posted by Alison on 3/13/2010 |
