Dance Off the Inches: Country Line Dance Party

Fun Follow Up!!!
I own the Country Line Dance and I could not wait to trying the follow up and Amy's cueing is so friendly and the routine is so much fun. I will get the footwork down. But it is a great dance workout. Especially when I need a chance of pace from my normal exercise routine and with Jennifer Galardi in the background, this DVD is a must try! - posted by Pedro on 4/1/2013
Fun,Fun,Fun
I have a few workout videos. I bought this video because both of my daughters like to line dance and always want me to go with them. I was hoping I would learn some dances and get a workout too. Not only did I learn dances and get a workout in but I am having FUN while doing it. This is the first tape that has me smiling while I workout. I can't wait for more of these so I can learn more dances. Now if they could just make eating healthy more fun :) - posted by Lori on 3/7/2013
Ok, not that much cardio
I wanted something different and this work out was ok. The steps are a little challenging if you aren't used to line dancing. The cardio isn't that difficult. This was cute but not that exciting. As with all Dance Off DVD's, there is a step tutorial included. To be fair, I'm not a big line dancer. If you are, you might really like this (but just to be clear, it's a workout in the line dancing style. It's not a How To video.) - posted by Vanessa on 1/7/2013
concentrates too much on dance steps
It's almost as if this is a video of how to do country line dancing. My goal was to get some good exercise and dance off some inches - not to learn complicated county & western dance steps. It's still pretty good though. Only lasts half an hour. - posted by Maureen on 1/3/2013
Great Fun!
I just got this video and tried it out this afternoon. I am not terrifically coordinated but I could keep up fairly well with the steps even the first time through after the step tutorial. I've never done country line dancing before and this was quite the workout for me. I was sweating big time but really enjoying it and I think it would really help work off some pounds. I liked it so much I ordered the other one. - posted by Diane on 10/31/2012
So much fun...
I'm not only having fun with this dance video but exercised, energized, and danced. I'm not a dancer (no, not at all) but the step guide helped alot. Not bad for my herniated (back)disc. Funny, it actually loosened my back muscles. I recommend it. - posted by R on 7/30/2012
Line Dancing
I started right with the program rather than going through the step guide first which would probably have helped my confusion with some of the dances. I got tired of Amy's comments about feeling how she was losing weight or inches. It's very energetic and fun. The first time I tried it my lower back hurt afterwards but I concentrated on my abs and didn't have that problem in subsequent exercises. I didn't feel like I was exercising. - posted by Ruth on 7/19/2012
Not into dancing
My sister in law and I exercise together...I like to dance...her not so much...This was a good compromise. The steps are easy and fun. Be aware that you are exercising using dance moves, not dancing for exercise. We would have liked to see the dances actually put in a line dance format with a song. I also personally like when a routine uses both sides of the body equally...this one went to the right every time. We will continue to incorporate this dvd for variety. - posted by Sharon on 4/6/2012
Line Dance
This is a good DVD. Nice to dance along and learn the steps. Amy is a great instructor and the two girls with her are excellent. Lots of fun projected in that DVD. - posted by Heide on 7/7/2011

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
