Certified instructor description: A well-sequenced workout with three separate dance segments: Samba, Cumbia and Reggaeton. It's a high-energy blend of fat-burning fun and easy-to-follow cuing. Each section begins with simple moves at a moderate tempo — the ideal way to feel the rhythm and internalize the steps. Then the music speeds up and the pace quickens ... while you add in the arms and extras (e.g. sexy chest pops, gentle hops, rapid turns). You'll complete one combo, move on to another and finally put it all together into a flowing, club-style dance series. The program also features optional results-boosters like "mini-crunches" and "booty bounces." DVD includes a 19-minute dance-step tutorial. ©2012. DVD has: Chapter menus, Close captions, Region 1.

Dance off the Inches: Latin Cardio Party

Fun
Nice workout. Fun to do but I like Christi Taylor pure spice better. - posted by Roberta on 4/25/2013
Fun Latin/Hip Hop Groove
I own all the Dance off the Inches and many other series as well. I have to say that I really like the instructor, Emily, as well as the flow of these dances. She is an easy-to-listen to instructor with good energy. Most of the dance moves are fairly simple and I really got a good workout in because they use your whole body. I liked the variety in the dances-latin, but with a hip-hop fuse at the end. The Dance off the Inches series has always been my favorite, and this one is a welcome addition to the series. - posted by Merili on 2/24/2013

Caliente!!!
This Latin dance workout is full of energy and that what I love about the Dance Off The Inches series in general! - posted by Pedro on 1/18/2013
Energetic!
Three segments, each featuring some unique moves and music. The instructor is energetic and so are some of the moves in each routine. You really can burn some calories because of a few high energy, "large" dance moves in each segment. Each routine has 6-8 dance moves, so there's the usual slower build-up to piece them together. That can get tedious after you've done the video a few times (typical of these dance videos though). Also, the routines have some twists and turns that are tough on a carpeted floor and some bending moves that maybe tough for those with back issues. Still, a good selection for your lighter days when you want something a bit different and still want to burn some calories. - posted by Robin K on 10/10/2012
Not bad.
Not a bad workout. I am not a dancer so this workout was not one of my favorites BUT...I could follow it and found myself getting into it... - posted by Lisa on 10/4/2012
Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
