A totally dance-oriented fat-burner with four different dance styles. You’ll be energized by the three instructors from the TV show — Ashley, Kym and Maksim. Their enthusiasm and interpersonal rapport make every step seem completely do-able (but there’s not much "cuing;" you mostly just follow along). The four techniques are taught in separate segments. First: three sexy, hip shakin’ Latin dances — Paso Doble, Cha Cha and Samba. Then it’s Jive — the classic all-American dance (including the Lindy and Swing). You’ll finish with a fast-paced freestyle segment that combines the moves you’ve just learned with a medley of upbeat improv variations. Excellent production with dynamic, truly foot-movin’ music. DVD includes a short segment on healthy eating. ©2007. DVD has:

    Disappointing |
| I love the show but this is a terrible workout video. The cueing is terrible. Only the last section is aerobic. The choreography is not thought out well. It seems like they did not plan ahead but just decided what to dance on the spot, therefore bad sequencing, boring repetion. Save your money! - posted by Kay on 1/30/2008 |

    lame |
| Are you kidding me this is a workout you don't even get your heartrate up. The audio is so bad you can hear the guy breathing heavy through his nostrils and it is so distracting. the counting is obnoxious. It's just all around bad. if I could give it less than a star it would be more appropriate. sorry I wasted my money. - posted by j on 1/22/2008 |

    A MUST HAVE! |
| Great workout (not a how to dance DVD) and what does knowing "dance vocabulary" have to do with anything You have the DVD to play more than once...which is how you learn. - posted by Melissa on 8/23/2007 |

Good - Except for the Freestyle |
| I have danced all my life and found the workout to be fun and well-cued. It would confuse those without a dance vocabulary. That being said, the free-style is confusing and is not well designed for the home exerciser. - posted by Christa on 8/22/2007 |

    Fun Workout |
| I really enjoyed this workout. As someone who has been dancing for years, it wasn't that difficult for me. I would rate this as beginner to intermediate but the challenge at the end would be for advanced since it seemed to be a total freestyle with little or no cueing and even Max got confused at one point as to what they were doing. My favorite was the jive which really got my heartrate soaring. It would be helpful if you had some dance experience but it's not necessary. They tell you the move but don't break it down (I know what a botofogo is but I don't know how many others do). I think Kym forgot a move at one point and sometimes it seemed like they didn't do things evenly for both sides. The time flew by very quickly for this workout and it will definitely be one I will reach for again. - posted by Marcy on 8/8/2007 |

great for losing weight, bad for learning to dance |
| it was definitely a challenge...i've only dabbled in dance classes in the past couple of years, and some of the moves (with ambiguous names) were just too advanced for me. what bugged me was that there weren't even breakdowns or (as others have said) very good cues for those moves. maybe after a few more sessions, i'll catch on.nonetheless, it's pretty fun if you have no intention of actually learning these dances--regardless of the choreographers' encouragement to bring the moves to the club! - posted by rachelle on 8/5/2007 |

Fun way to shed pounds and learn to dance like a pro |
| I enjoyed the Dancing with the Stars Cardio exercise. I have seen great improvements with my midsection and learnt many dancing steps. My favorite is the JIVE section because it gets your heart pumping to a high intensity workout. - posted by Anna O. on 7/23/2007 |
