Certified instructor description: Two compact, easy-to-follow, walking-style workouts. Each one features a distinct intensity pattern. “AM Walking” starts slowly and gradually adds more challenging movements (it’s designed to “wake you up”). “PM Walking” is faster-paced; it emphasizes strength and stress reduction — perfect for more intense, later-in-the-day fat-burning. Anyone can do Debbie’s super-basic moves — simple marches, lateral steps, lunges and heel taps. Her calm, knowledgeable cuing is exceptionally motivating. You’ll feel like an elite athlete with your personal coach — she’ll keep you mentally focused while explaining what to do and offering positive encouragement. Filmed in Hawaii, it feels like you’re exercising in a tropical garden. ©2006.

Debbie Rocker's AM and PM Walking

Good low impact workout
This dvd has two workouts that are low impact which i need because of knee problems. And it is nice to be able to choose which one i am in the mood to do. The instructor is very encouraging. Also the background of a Hawaiian garden is very enjoyable. - posted by Karen on 4/12/2012
Loved It
Simple moves and surprising results. I'm a Leslie Sansone fan but needed a change with different moves and music. - posted by Betty on 4/12/2012
Just right for me...
I am enjoying this video. The lengths are just right for days when I want to walk - without using weights. - posted by Barbara on 3/8/2012
Good Walking Video
This is my 2nd walking video from D Rocker and unlike some others I enjoy her and find her motivating. This is easier than her other but I like dividing it up into am and pm. An hour of walking all at once really sets up the boredom factor in me. - posted by Joyce on 3/2/2012
Debbie rocks!
I am in my 50's and really do not do high impact aerobics any more. I like walking style low impact tapes like this. I am a big fan of Leslie Sansone, but Debbie Rocker adds a toning and lower body aspect to her work outs that Leslie does not. It was filmed outside in a beautiful Hawaiian (I assume) setting. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day which washes out the beautiful colors of the scenery. Debbie does a great workout and I get a sweat up even with the low impact. I have one other of her tapes and will order more. - posted by pamela on 9/24/2011
Not my cup of tea.
Individual instructors are definitely a matter of taste for each exerciser. Debbie Rocker just didn't appeal to me (too much talking), and the routines were uninspiring. After one try I knew I'd never use this DVD again, so I returned it. In fairness to Debbie I must admit I don't like indoor walking programs in general--walk, walk, walk, march, march, march. How long can this stay interesting without a change of scene? I would recommend getting outside with a walk-CD. - posted by Kay on 9/15/2011
Good Workout
I enjoyed this workout a lot. I'm a Leslie Sansone fan, but am tired of the same old music and moves. This was a good change. However, Leslie and Debbie have one thing in common, they love to talk! But Debbie is inspiring and encouraging. And no annoying laugh! - posted by Barbara on 7/28/2011
Good Workout
This is a good workout. It is not as fast paced as some of her other videos. But this one is labeled beginner. It is a good one for days you are not feeling up to a faster pace. - posted by Julie on 7/28/2011
Okay work out
I found this video to be a little boring. I love walking workouts and will use this one sometimes to mix things up. I prefer my Leslie Sansone ones, they have more variety. - posted by Dawn on 7/28/2011
Another great Debbie Rocker video
I really love Debbie Rocker videos. This one has the same theme as the others and I think the backdrops in each of her videos is magnificent. Makes you feel like you are in some wonderful location. She is an excellent teacher and this video has a very interesting interview with Debbie where she explains her background and philosophy. - posted by Tipi on 7/23/2011

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
