Certified instructor description: A fluid program that blends elements of yoga, Pilates and weight training into a faster-than-usual toning workout. It will gently sculpt your body while also providing a subtle cardio benefit (each segment includes a short series of near-aerobic "mountain climber" moves). The workout is taught as a progressively-intensifying, smoothly-transitioning "flow." You'll learn a base move, add in the harder exercises and finish by repeating the entire combo. Most routines are multi-muscle; they work your upper and lower body at the same time (while also keeping your abs engaged). It ends with Pilates corework and a series of deep stretches. Requires 2 to 5 lb. dumbbells. ©2011. DVD has: Chapter menus, Wide screen.

Exhale: Core Fusion Cardio Pure Intensity

Too Easy
I do the 10minute "cardio" section (which is actually toning not cardio) often but the other segments were boring, easy, and pretty much a waste of time - posted by Video Freak on 2/17/2012
Not for me
Unlike other comments made, I did not like this workout except for the weight workout part. This was geared to yoga, which I do not like and can not do for most part. I have severe arthritis in my hands/wrists and can't do most yoga moves - especially the downward dog, which seems that every yoga workout is geared to. I was very disappointed with this workout, thinking it would be more a different type of cardio. All if did is constantly go into downward dog and then to mountain climbers, over and over again. It was repetitious and boring for the most part. Unfortunately, I feel I wasted money on this as it probably will not be used again. - posted by Marsha on 2/8/2012
PHENOMENAL WORKOUT!
I thoroughly enjoy this workout. Each exercise is thorough, precise and did my body the world of good. I'm still feeling my muscles tingling in some areas. Fred and Elisabeth's instructions and cueing are excellent as usual and they always take the time to inform you what benefits you will receive when executing their exercises. I love the fact they they have a modifier at the back of the class (some of the moves I was not able to do in full range). There are a lot of mountain climbers with plank throughout this workout which definitely brought on a sweat. I am still feeling the soreness in my shoulders the next day. I definitely will be purchasing the Power Sculpt workout. My faves are the Cardio and Power Flow workout in this dvd - they are extremely challenging. I have all of their dvds so far. - posted by Cee Doyley on 1/17/2012
powerful workout
There is nothing wrong with this workout as far as I am concerned. I can feel myself getting stronger and leaner every time I do it. Challenging but doable. I am 50 in decent shape but needed to tone up. I can almost guarantee that you will look leaner after doing this workout 10 times... - posted by Analin on 12/1/2011
Wonderful Workout
This workout is absolutely amazing. Although at first sight it seem rather beginner, it really is an intensive, focused, cardio-driven routine that is inspiring and uplifting. The moves are intelligently choreographed to challenge all of your muscles and your mind. Incorporating breathing into each move its like you're doing strength training, cardio, pilates, and yoga simultaneously. Highly recommended. - posted by Dianne on 10/27/2011
Exhale: Core Fusion Cardio Pure Intensity
I'm 42 years old and I workout about 6 days a week, I have about 35 workout videos. This will be THE ONE to change my body. I love it, I do all five workouts since 10 minutes just doesn't seem enough. I felt the burn and truly felt that I was doing my body good. I even feel it up to two hours afterwards. Now, if I could only get the abs on the cover. - posted by Susan on 9/29/2011
The worst in the series
I am a great fan of the Exhale classes and videos. This is the only one that I regret buying and don't think that I will do again. Too many issues with it but most important I didn't find it engaging in any way. The exercises didn't feel that they had as much purpose as the other videos. One personal bias is that I don't like the yoga direction that they take with this- perhaps others will however. - posted by Amy on 9/22/2011
very badly filmed video
This is a very challenging video. One of the five instructors is showing modifications but is usually not visible. She is either not in the shot or blocked by one of the instructors in the front. After watching it twice, I am still not sure how she is performing some of the modifications. So if you need modifications, this is definitely not the video for you. This will be the only video that I have actually returned. Very disappointing. - posted by Lee on 9/10/2011
Excellent Workout!
I was really impressed with this workout. It's different from other core fusion workouts in that the pace is much faster. I appreciated how flexibility and strength training were combined to create a cardio effect. My heart rate was up, and I got a good sweat on. I recommend it! - posted by Stephanie on 9/9/2011
Great 30 Min
I like this workout for 30 minutes. I really feel I have worked out. Heart rate up. I recently had to stop working out for over a month. I started back with the lower intensity and could only do 20 min. It took awhile for my heart rate to move down. Really helps when you only have 30 minutes to spare. - posted by Margaret on 8/31/2011

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
