Certified instructor description: Long warmups with lots of instruction followed by a graceful, flowing sequence of jazz and Latin dance moves. Each workout is subtly more intense than the one before. You’ll practice the basic moves in the first program. Then you boost the tempo, increase the range of motion and blend in the more technical options. The steps range from classic jazz and salsa moves to bellydance hip circles and ballet porte de bras. Jennifer’s instruction is friendly and supportive, but also detailed and very precise. DVD includes a 13-minute “bonus” ballet workout. ©2008. DVD has:

    Great For Beginners! |
| Easy to follow for beginners. Low impact and easy to do on carpet. Could use a few more minutes to sustain elevated heartrate. - posted by Kristine on 3/15/2012 |

Misleading - more like the same workout, 3 times over |
| Did the whole DVD the other day. The beginner workout is easy, as are the "intermediate" and "advanced" which is a bit of a misnomer as these are exactly the same, except for the last 2 minutes of the "advanced" workout where Jennifer adds on a short snippet. Until I got to this snippet, I actually thought I must have selected the "intermediate" workout twice by mistake, they were identical! I actually found it really boring to do effectively the same workout 3 times in a row, which is poor value. I did like the isolations in the warm ups, and Jennifer is a pleasant instructor, but not worth the money. - posted by Christa on 2/25/2012 |

    boring |
| I have 3 workout DVD,s of hers and they are all pretty much the same. Same routines and movements different sequence. I was hoping that this time she would have changed it up. I was not very impressed. - posted by jeannine on 1/19/2012 |

    Fun flexibility workout |
| I find this to be a valuable flexibility help especially following a challenging aerobic and weight lifting workout. I only wish the sections were a bit longer. It is fun and I recommend it. - posted by Vida on 6/1/2011 |

    Just OK |
| I like the stretches interspersed with the dance moves but this video is not three distinct workouts. You need to do the first segment, then the second, then the third. They build on each other and if you start with the second segment, as I did, you'll be playing catch-up the entire time. I do like the shorter length of the segments. I'll probably use this video as a warm up to weight toning in the future. - posted by Jackie on 3/13/2011 |

What I was looking for |
| I read the other reviews before trying this, but I'm glad I ordered it anyway. I'm a yoga/pilates/ballet girl and was looking for something to complement those movements. When I saw the trailer for this DVD, I was drawn to the choreography, which is jazz-dance-based and aerobic but also elongating and chest-opening without being hard on the body. And that's exactly what these workouts deliver--solid, low-impact, jazzy, elegant and heart-rate-elevating workouts. Yes, workouts 2 & 3 are the same except for some variations in 3's warm-up and the last sequence, but I didn't mind because I liked the way the moves felt while I was doing them. I did all four workouts in a row and never got tired of the choreography. Also, Jennifer has a nice voice and I liked her style of instruction. What I didn't like at all, however, was the music--it's very electronic and has no soul and a strange choice given the style of dance. The ballet workout music isn't techno, but it's still surprisingly blah. - posted by Rebecca on 6/20/2009 |

    Cool Set Cool Music |
| Yes it does basically have the same workout 3 times and that is one of the cons I have for this workout. There is a beginner, intermediate and advance. The intermediate and advance workouts are exactly the same except for the last minute and 1/2 of the advance workout. Here, Jennifer adds on one addtional segment. The difference between the beginner and intermediate workouts is that Jennifer tweaks several moves to make them more challenging and the speed increases slightly from the bigger to intermediate. For the most part the dances are easy to follow. Jennifer shows a lot of bravado and moxy type confidence and you can tell she loves to instruct. I enjoy listening to her. So it is not something that I mind. I absolutely love the set and the music. I don't know how often I would add this in to my rotation but except for the repetitiveness of the 2nd and 3rd workouts, I quite enjoyed the program. - posted by saundra on 4/6/2009 |

The same workout times three |
| The workout is jazzy and fun, but it's one workout repeated three times with very minor variations. I found myself wondering if my DVD was defective and that they'd mistakenly copied the the same workout instead of providing a variety. If you just do the last, most complex (but not very complex) version, plus the bonus ballet section, you'll have a pleasant but too-short, not very aerobic session. - posted by Lisa on 3/27/2009 |
