Certified instructor description: The complete 15-DVD set with resistance tubing (not included from most other sellers). This well-designed system integrates all the latest fitness techniques — from super sets and high-intensity interval training to plyometrics and core-focused toning. The 15 DVDs are divided into three levels (five workouts per level). Within each level, one DVD focuses on pure fat-burning cardio. The other four DVDs include a mix of pure toning and aero/tone intervals. The system's cardio segments feature a blend of kickbox, athletic and sports-inspired moves. The toning sections are exceptionally varied — from classic Pilates, yoga and gym-style exercises to Jillian-specific variations (often maximizing time-efficiency by targeting multiple muscle groups at once). As always, Jillian's cuing is clear, motivating ... and a little "bad ass" ("come on, don't suck!"). This complete kit has 15 DVDs, a resistance tube and four booklets (fitness guide, 90-day journal, meal planning and recipes). Multiple sets of dumbbells are suggested (e.g. 3, 5 & 10 lb.). ©2011.

Jillian's Body Revolution 15-DVD Set & Free Tubing

Good Variety
I was using her Kickbox workout pretty regularly so wanted to change it up a bit and get a complete set. The first set in my opinion is for beginner exercisers. it wasn't tough. I think the whole program is worth the money. Great variety of exercises and some are a real challenge. They will definitely get you in shape. The one thing that is getting on my nerves is Jillian thinking she is kicking your butt and you're dreading it and her constant comments about it. It's a good exercise program, so stop making it sound like we're going to struggle. I'm 50 and can handle it all, no problem. - posted by Sharon on 6/7/2013

Worth the $
I decided not to write about this video series until I completed it. I think it does a great job of increasing in difficulty. I was pleased as I progressed knowing I was getting stronger and more fit. I did not follow the eating guidelines. Much of the food on the eating plan was not my kind of food! However, I am sure that if both are combined, there would be a substantial shift in fitness level and body shaping. I would recommend this product. - posted by Sandra on 5/23/2013
Jilkian Michaels Review
I have been doing it for 3 weeks, 6 days a week. She kicks my butt. Its a very good workout. - posted by Dawn on 5/17/2013
Always Workout at Home
I've never been a fan of Jillian but I thought I'd give her a try. Turns out, I love this system, I'm 47 and at my age I need more cardio. I'm only 3 weeks into it but I'm happy that the videos are only 30 mins and if I have time to eke in the cardio video on a sculpting day, I do it. Everyone complains about her mouth, I could really care less about that. She's motivating and informative and that's what matters. The system comes with a diet plan, quite frankly, I never follow them. The food sometimes is too exotic and hard to find in my rural area. Especially when the fad now is "eat clean". I watch my calorie intake and I give myself one cheat day a week. Sometimes I take it, sometimes I don't. Overall, I highly recommend this system. I will be buying more of her DVD's so that I don't get bored doing the same thing over and over. I am not sure of any weight loss this early in the game, but I know I feel better! - posted by Karen on 5/17/2013

Fantastic workouts! Feeling amazing!
I have just started week seven and couldn't be happier with the results that I am seeing and feeling. As many of us today, I really don't have the time for lengthy workouts (leave for work at 3:45am and home at 6pm - gives me about 2.5 hours of "home and me" time before going to bed again) and was doing well with Pilates and Kettlebells, but really needed to kick things up a notch. Prior to starting this program, I was down 50 lbs (size 20/22 pants to size 14) but getting really bored. After 6 weeks, I have lost ~12 lbs, and am getting in really good shape! Wearing a size 12 jeans, losing the saddle bags and feeling great. This program forces me to incorporate cardio (HATE!!!) which is another bonus. It is really gratifying to see improvement each week - things that seemed impossible a month ago ARE possible! I love the fast pace, I love Jillian's explanation and coaxing ("you paid for it!") and there is nothing wrong with the tubing included in the package. - posted by Margo on 4/15/2013
Problem with Bands
The workout is great. But, I also have a problem with the bands. They aren't long enough. - posted by Colleen on 3/27/2013
Love these workouts!
Before I purchased these I must admit I was not a Jillian fan. I love her now! I work 55-60 horus a week and these 30 mintue workouts are perfect. I can't stick to the workout to the schedule but I try. After 1 month I have lost 6 lbs and am seeing good results! I substitute weights for some of the tubing, but the tubing does not stop you from doing any of the exercises. At first I couldn't even do one full body pushup - I can do about 10 now! Jillian totally motivates me and this set of dvd's was exactly what I was looking for to get me into shape before summer!! - posted by Ellie on 3/17/2013
DVD Junkie
I'm a big fan of Jillian so I thought I would love this set unfortunately I did not and it is going back. I have the adjustable weight set and she moves so fast I didn't even have time to make the few clicks to change the weight. I will still continue to use the other 10 Jillian dvd's I have. - posted by Debra on 3/14/2013

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.
sample time graph
Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
sample time graph
Level
X
Beginner: Just starting out, very overweight or haven't exercised in over six months.

Intermediate: Active in sports, dance or any regular exercise (2 to 3 times per week).

Advanced: Very active in sports or consistently work out four or more times per week.

Aerobics impact
X
Lower Impact: Both feet never leave the ground at the same time. This minimizes stress on your knees.

Higher Impact: Includes movements like jumps, hops and skips. Very high-impact is called plyometrics.

Mixed Impact: This alternates or combines the above styles.

Aerobics choreography
X
Basic: The easiest to follow. It ranges from simple walking-style marches to sports and athletic movements.

Complex: More intricate combinations and patterns. They're ideal for people who like to dance.

Moderate: More interesting than Basic, less dancy than Complex.

Toning emphasis
X
Upper body: Arms, chest and back.

Lower Body: Legs, thighs, hips and buttocks.

Abs: Abdominals (stomach), core and sometimes lower back.

Total body: Tones all three of the above muscle groups.

Aerobics & Toning
X
Definition: Includes two workout activities. The aerobics segments are fast-paced standing movements like marching, dancing and jumping. These segments require no equipment. The toning sections are slow, controlled movements working against a resistance. These may include Pilates and weight training.

Benefits: The combination of both activities provides a balanced workout. The aerobics burns calories, strengthens your heart and increases stamina. The toning builds lean muscles, increases your metabolism and makes everyday activities easier.
