Jillina's Bellydance - Volume 1 |
    great bellydance dvd! |
| I have been taking bellydancing classes for two months and wanted some videos to do between classes since i am addicted to bellydance. I tried my luck with dvd's through netflix and they were all horrible! Jillina's videos are the only ones I've found (so far) made by a REAL dancer not some crazy person who can shake their hips but has no technique. I am still a beginner so this video was the perfect level for me. She owns a dance studio near my house so I am thinking of taking up more classes at her place. Bottom line, this is a great video for a beginner who needs to practice their shimmies, camels, and horizontal figure eights (primary moves in this video!). - posted by annie g on 8/29/2009 |

    Easy Moves |
| I love how Jillina is not a super-skinny belly dancer like in all of the other belly dancing instructional videos. Her moves are easy to follow and not too advanced. This is great for beginners who are looking to find a simple way to start belly dancing. - posted by Christina on 4/30/2009 |

    I like it |
| Jillina has great skill in belly dancing and she breaks it down simply in this instructional video. She is easy to follow. - posted by georgia on 1/10/2008 |

Looks like just what Ive been looking for |
| Ive been looking for a bellydance/exercise video that has a complete dance routine in it. Ive used others that were just segments of a routine. You'd get into the move, and then it stopped, and moved to another ---no flow to it. - posted by mary on 11/6/2007 |

    awesome! |
| If you wan tot learn a choreography this is it. You will get a work out plus have a danc eyou can dance fully for yourself or to perform for others. The music is found on the bellydance superstar cd so the music is available. Jillina is super! You won't be disappointed. She has the camera follow her from behind (like you would in a class situation) and you can see her front in the mirror. - posted by Kim on 8/22/2007 |

| Wonderful BUT more of an advanced beginner tape--not for a novice |
| I just did this for the first time 10 hours ago and I can totally feel it in my sides, stomach and lower chest muscles! Its a great choreography lesson but is not for those completely new to bellydancing. Jillina does not go into deep, slow instruction of the basic movements so if you are completely new, definitely do some of the other videos I have done before. I have done the bellydance instructional videos from Veena and Neena (Basic, Beyond Basic, and Mystic Dance). Now, the last time I did any of them was about a year and a half ago so its been a while but I at least remember how to do the moves properly. So if you have had some bellydance instruction, definitely get this one. The choreographed routine is very nice and is definitely an advanced beginner routine. And it is definitely something you can add your own touch to once you have mastered it and make it your own. - posted by TJ on 3/19/2007 |

| Pretty Good |
| This tape is fun, but frustrating for the total novice. I like the music and the combinations, and Jillina cues well. However, I need a practice "from the top" with all of the combinations together before she goes on to the fancy choreography. I'm am so lost on the final choreography! However, it does get my heart rate up for a few minutes at a time. I would recommend this tape to someone who has taken real bellydancing classes or someone who is a confident dancer. - posted by Vanessa on 2/23/2007 |

| Great video. I love it! |
| I really like this video. Jillina gives you the bellydancing fundamentals in this vid. Like the poster below, I don't have all the moves down, but I can feel my core working as I learn the moves. This one's a serious keeper! - posted by Lucky on 10/1/2006 |

| ALSO LOVED IT |
| I don't have all the moves down but it is a good work out, and she is really a great dancer. I like the way she breaks down the routine and build on top of others. I thought maybe in a month I would get her 2nd or 3rd one, but it will be a while before I can get the moves down. I don't really plan on taking lessons yet, and no one offers them where I live anyways. This is a great way to get immersed in it. - posted by Teresa on 6/7/2006 |
