A well-produced series of more advanced-level bellydance routines. Jillina makes these graceful and sensuous movements especially fun and do-able. Her easy-to-follow, one-on-one instruction is straight-forward and totally non-intimidating. The video begins with a dancers’ stretch followed by seven isolations — individual movements that range from “Egyptian twists” and “turns with arms,” to “pelvis pops” and “reverse body waves” (there’s even a “horse step” series), Then these moves are then used in complete bellydance combinations (first, broken down slowly, then practiced at full tempo with music). Finally, you’ll add some variations and finish with a 10-minute bellydance performance. Authentic Arabic instrumental music. ©2003. DVD has: Chapter menus, Region 1.

Terrific Bellydance Video
Jillina is a great instructor. I really enjoy learning bellydance with her, but it is not for the faint-hearted! If you are new to this artform, start with her beginner level tape. Well worth the money! - posted by Pat on 8/22/2007

Reading a Time Graph

Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
