Angie Miller's Kettlebell Bootcamp |
Go Heavier for Good Workout |
| This DVD is not as fun and exciting as many of the others I own (135 of them) but the exercises are effective. I did feel as I had gotten a workout when I was done. The format is just a little boring and Angie does not put any personality into it. However, I will continue to do it because I find it challenging with my 20 lb kettlebells. I have to drop down to my 15s by set 4. I use the guards from NoFearFitness in sets 4 and 5. - posted by Karen on 3/16/2013 |

Not Chatty at All...Great Total Body Workout! |
| I really liked this workout. The tutorial was very descriptive and helpful...I got a good workout from just doing that! I didn't think that she was too chatty. To me, no more chatty than other instructors. Everything she said was instructional and encouraging....didn't bother me at all. I like the way the DVD is divided up into about 8 sets. Each is about 10 min long. Each is different and works the entire body. So, you could honestly just do 2-3 sets and get a great workout. The only thing that needs improvement like most videos is the music. Once I get the moves down I'm just gonna use my ipod and play my own music. Other than that I think this is a great value for all that you get. - posted by Fitchick on 12/20/2012 |

    Deceptively easy... |
| I enjoyed this workout and it seemed very doable. It was nicely broken down and each set was thorough and seemed to go by quickly. I was kind of looking for medium intensity and with kettlebells, I am strong but new, so I didn't want insanity to start. I finished the workout the first time and thought, "great basic workout." I gotta tell you, my legs were sore for 3 plus days! It really worked me harder than it seemed. I would recommend this for anyone wanting a calm, doable, but deceptively effective workout. - posted by Melissa on 3/19/2012 |

    Good Workout! |
| I liked this workout a lot. I didn't love the warmup section as it seemed a bit too gym class aerobics like to me. However the 8 series were super. Each series lasts just long enough so you can complete the set, and her form is perfect. This is a super DVD that all levels of kettlebell users can do because you simply adjust the weight. What I really appreciate about this DVD is that each and every body part is worked, including ABS! Really enjoy this workout. - posted by Andrea on 10/22/2011 |

    Dull and unstructured |
| The instructor is not very charismatic or energetic, which already makes the workout feel harder than it should, and some exercises really are more "weight-training" than kettlebell (e.g. lunges, deadlifts). My biggest issue, however, is that the cover says this is beginner/intermediate/advanced, but there's no way to 'select' a level. It's all the same workout, and the only thing that determines whether it's beginner or advanced depends solely on whether you do any modifications (not # of reps & sets, for example). You can't create a custom workout from the chapters, either - if you pick a chapter, that's the only one that plays. The chapters also feel choppy: if you choose "Play All," the DVD still displays a "title card" before each one ("Set 2," "Set 3," etc). I've had other kettlebell workout DVDs, and this is easily my least favorite. - posted by Kate L on 8/12/2011 |

    Not bad |
| Besides the video that came with my kettlebell this is the only video I have done. I like the fact that she is not overly chatty and she can count, which we all know many cannot. I am 46, have exercised my whole life, but still only in moderate shape. This is a good workout, it doesn't even seem that hard while I am doing it, but dang can my butt feel it the next day. I have been doing it twice a week and it is definitely one I will keep in my collection. - posted by Teri on 7/9/2011 |

    Mixed review |
| While I liked most of the exercises included in this dvd I really disliked the formatting - all of the parts were run together so it was a hassle to fast forward or reverse to get to the part(s) I wanted - it would have been a whole lot better to have them as separate drills that I could select as I wanted - decided other dvds I had were much more user friendly and sent this one back. - posted by Elaine on 7/7/2011 |

    Buyer BEWARE !!! |
| This is my first and last "Angie Miller" video. A cadaver would have more enthusiasm that she! I know that she has a Tutorial in the beginning of this video but why not reinforce the instruction thru out the actual exercise? She says "ok now lets do this" but doesn't bother to reinforce how you do it, she just remains SILENT during each set. This is an absolute waste of money. Angie Miller should not be an instructor !!!!! Buy Kettlebell Worx instead !! - posted by Ellen on 6/30/2011 |

LOVE THIS and LOVE THE RESULTS |
| I am a 39 y/o mother of 2. I am 5'4" about 130lbs. Over the years I have taken MANY different types of fitness classes and run sometimes. I am in decent shape but never felt "sculpted". Last summer I was taking Angie's cycling classes at my health club. I was in awe of her tiny chiseled frame and always wondered what else she did to look like that since cycling is a lot of lower body. Then one day she mentioned working out w/a kettle bell and another day mentioned "filming again in the fall". This peaked my curiosity so I went home to "google" her and stumbled upon her kettle bell video. I ordered it hoping it wouldn't be a dust collector like all the others I own. After doing it once, I was addicted (I even took it on vacation, that's saying a lot). Hard workout but easy to get through. It is in short segments so when you think you can't do anymore, you get a short break. But the best part were the results. I have always hated my arms. Within a week I started to see definition in my arms, back and shoulders for the 1st time ever! My stomach was getting flat and my hamstrings/butt were getting toned. I was amazed. Many friends asked what I was doing and I recommended this video to all of them. This video has a great combination of exercises to get FULL body results. Angie does a great job explaining, motivating and reminding you of proper form. I HIGHLY recommend this video but do not recommend pushing through the whole video your 1st time through(I was sore for about 4 days). I would suggest 1/2 one day and 1/2 the next because my whole body was screaming. Going to try her newest workout soon. She is GREAT! This is a looong review and could keep going and I NEVER write reviews, that's how much I love it! - posted by Kim on 6/28/2011 |

    Great workout |
| I am new the kettlebell, but not to fitness tapes/workouts. I was looking for something new that would keep me motivated and give me a good sweat... this certainly does it! Good music and by having the 10 segments, you get something new every couple of minutes. The moves are challenging, but not impossible and easy to follow. I highly recommend this one! - posted by Michelle on 6/28/2011 |
