Leslie Sansone: A Closer 2-Mile Walk |
Uplifting and a good workout |
| I really enjoyed this workout. It is uplifting and positive, with a "just us girls" kind of feeling. Well, just us over-40 girls, I should say. I am not in the shape I used to be in, so I doubt this would be much of a challenge for someone at an intermediate or advanced level, but it is a nice workout for me. - posted by Kay on 3/2/2010 |

    Enjoyable |
| This starts out slow & gentle and then Leslie picks up the pace. I don't think it is quite 2 miles; usually my pedometer is pretty accurate with Leslie workouts and this one came in a little under, but it was still a good walk and I was a little sweaty at the end. I really, really enjoyed the hymns - they were like a breath of fresh air. I also like that it was Leslie and four ladies age 40 & above; it made me feel like I was hanging out with friends my own age. I'm glad I purchased this one! - posted by BellaCat on 2/20/2010 |

    Gentle, builds intensity slowly |
| I was looking for a "Leslie" dvd that was a good intro to her style. This fit the bill nicely. The intensity is good for beginners as it builds slowly. For this reason, it could be used as a "warm up" for more strenuous workouts. It's also a great one if you want to walk, but not be exhausted afterward. I enjoyed the Christian music. I sang these songs in Church, gives me good feelings. I felt calm, serene afterward. - posted by Melanie on 1/20/2010 |

thank you Leslie and Collage! |
| This DVD was so helpful to me today. I am recovering from a back strain, PLUS I have fibromyalgia. I am 'supposed' to do gentle exercise daily. This DVD made all my aches and pains fade away for a while! I truly appreciated the inspirational content: in the music (some recognizable hymns); the on-screen messages; Leslie's words; Father Phil's final blessing. Some of my friends have LAUGHED in my face at the very idea of fitness videos with religious content. Well, I don't laugh. In fact, I had a little tear in my eye at the end. I am grateful that Leslie and her team have put together a workout that is helpful for anyone wanting a gentle and inspiring exercise day: not just beginners. Thank you Collage for carrying this DVD. - posted by Bertha on 5/23/2009 |

    Absolutely love it! |
| I love this workout. It is just right in length and intensity for me. I am 65 and looking for a heart healthy workout. I have had all of Leslie's other workouts but couldn't stick to them. This one has such inspirational music that I don't even notice Leslie's chatter. She is very sweet but sometimes got on my nerves. I can see myself doing this DVD easily every day. It's over before you know it and I agree with Leslie that we all have the responsibility to take care of our bodies. As I age, my health and longevity has become more important than my looks. - posted by Susan on 3/25/2009 |

Mood lifting 2M Sweat producing power walk |
| I would highly recommend this uplifting 2M power walk which has a blessing, scriptures & uplifting contemporary gospel music for all you spiritual people out there. This would make a great gift for anyone going through trials and/or having the "blues", its that uplifting! Its awesome! I usually jog while Leslie walks but NOT in this one, the pace was so quick : ) I started to sweat before the 1 mile marker! I would highly recommend this 2Miler. I listened to the blessing before doing the workout so I was instantly uplifted, then I did the workout and the contemporary music was so good. For more intensity, [ps I'm in my 40s] I strap on 2.5lb ankle weights on each ankle, 1.5lb wrist weights on each wrist plus, I use 2lb dumbbells in each hand and I jog while she walks. I've purchased A LOT of Leslie's dvds in the past 7 years and I only keep the ones that pass the sweat test. - posted by Robin on 3/22/2009 |

    Loved It! |
| I have been walking with Leslie for years and I have many of her videos. I just love this new video! It is very pleasant and enjoyable. Loved the music, the choreography, and the occasional Bible verses were very inspiring. I laughed out loud and another time became teary eyed because I was so moved by the words of the song, "Here I am Lord". It was also a great moderate workout. And I'm so glad that Leslie included the blessing with her Pastor, Fr. Phillip Farrell! I was physically, emotionally, and spiritually moved! Great job Leslie! - posted by Therese on 2/6/2009 |

    Uplifting and Inspirational Workout |
| This is a great addition to Leslie's walking workouts. Nothing new here, walking, kicking, knee lifts, side steps, etc. But that's why I like Leslie's workouts, anyone can do them. I really enjoyed the Christian music and the Bible references. It's a great way to start the day off on a positive, uplifting note. - posted by Michele on 1/29/2009 |
