Leslie Sansone's The Big Burn 2 Miles of Intervals |
    Blast for minimum time |
| If you want to get your motor running and are short on time, this is the video you want. Great for those mornings when you're short on time but know that you need to get the cardio in. - posted by Diana on 3/10/2010 |

Good Idea - Bad Execution |
| I was really looking for a Leslie DVD that was 30 minutes, that could still be challenging. (I'm a beginner.) Well, she attempted that with this workout, but fell a little short. I do like the jogging intervals; it gets my heart rate up. However, this has to be one of her most poorly produced workouts. Her cueing is even more off than usual; the studio is dark and unflattering to the eye; and the camerawork is shoddy. Just felt thrown together. I will continue to use it when I'm time-crunched. - posted by Krista on 2/25/2010 |

    The worst, a wreck |
| This was "make a quick buck" time in Leslie world. The production values are so poor, there's NOTHING new, it's Leslie spouting the same old schpiel in this 30 minute walking disaster. Here's the list of what's wrong: 1) Leslie says, "let's do X" and then doesn't do it. 2) The camera focuses on the adorable Steve not being able to do a step so he just decides to do another one until the step is over 3) the camera shakes, 4) Leslie goes over to her camera man while doing one step then loses track of the step when rejoining her team, forcing her cohorts not to know what step she's doing. Okay, Leslie fans, I've supported Ms. Sansone enough ($$$), to give you an honest account of which videos to purchase/rent. Don't BOTHER buying the rest until you are in your eighties at which point you may need the slower tempo or forget that she says the same thing in every single video. Buy: 1)5 Mile Fat Burning Walk, 2)Walk Slim--4 Fast Miles (forgive the fake laughing she employs in the video, though) 3) Walk your Belly Flat...most of the same crap but done quickly with a little bonus at the end. Leslie actually says some new "Leslieisms" in this video wherein you can break a sweat and 4) 3 Mile Slim and Sleek Walk--Pilates. I like this one. Easy yet effective! |
| This is one of my "go-to" dvds when I want to get an easy to follow workout, but not work up a big sweat or have to concentrate too much. Very easy to follow...in fact, I often do this one with the volume turned off...and to bump-it-up a little, I often wear ankle weights or hold light hand weights for the entire workout. Yet, on days when I'm not feeling as energetic, I find it the perfect intensity just as it is to give me a nice workout. The jog intervals are a nice boost, and you always have the option of staying low-impact if that is a better choice for you. I love Leslie, own many of her workouts, and this is one of my favorites. - posted by Julie (Busy Mom of Seven Gets in Shape) on 1/20/2010 |

    Re-Review |
| I did this one again, and I liked it better the 2nd time through. I have MANY of Leslie's workouts and sometimes you just need a 30 min workout. This one is good for mornings to wake up your body or evenings to release stress and burn a few calories for sure. You can add light hand weights to bump it up too. - posted by TracyAZGirl on 11/2/2009 |

    same ole.... |
| I like to watch the cars drive by that you can see looking out the window of her studio-I was wishing the black curtains were open a little bit more though so I could see what else is going on out there in Pittsburg, PA!.... ha ha . I like 2 mile walks 'cause I don't have time for much else these days- it's fine, nothing to writ home about! Her 5 mile fat burning is great though! - posted by TracyAZGirl on 10/1/2009 |

    Poor Production Values |
| The workout was completely spoiled for me by the incredibly poor production values. The camera shakes and the framing is off center a lot. Since she bought her own studio, I'm starting to think she hires family/friends to do her taping instead of using a professional film crew. Plus the music is the same recycled stuff we have heard in a thousand other Leslie workouts. I won't be buying anymore of her stuff :o( - posted by Raina on 8/20/2009 |

    LOVE...LOVE....This walk |
| I love this walk it goes by very fast and it is fun at the same time. I LOVE Leslie's casual way, and her enthusiasm. She makes you feel like you are special and you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to. Her cueing is very good and easy to follow. I do not like to jog but I like how she shows you how to do it lower impact and still move at the same pace she is moving. You still get a very good workout and a very good sweat. This tape will help you loose weight and stay fit. I have used it a few times and all ready have lost some weight. Some people complaint about the BOOMing noise you really don't notice it cause the music is moving so quick. THANKS again Leslie. This is a GREAT workout. - posted by Odile on 8/17/2009 |

    LOTS of fun............ |
| I reach for this one often. It's 2 miles of sweaty, intense walk-jog intervals. True, production quality isn't the greatest but the workout itself really gets the job done in 32 minutes. Leslie's veteran walkers, Mary Kay,Joanne and Linda are back and I was thrilled to see them. She also has two other walkers with her,all in all a very lively, spirited group just having fun. I highly recommend this one, it's great to do on those busy days when you just can't fit in an hour of exercise at one time but just beware YOU WILL SWEAT doing this one so make sure you have time for a shower afterwards~LOL~ Great job,Leslie!!! - posted by Judy on 7/29/2009 |
