Time graph for Leslie Sansone's The Big Burn 2 Miles of Intervals
An easy-to-do, just-having-fun workout with short “power boosts” designed to maximize your fat-burning results. As always, Leslie is energized, supportive and motivating. But this program feels unusually relaxed and spontaneous (like a real, among-friends class). In fact, the exercises were unrehearsed so there are even a few minor mis-cues (“but don’t worry about right or left, just keep kicking”). You get Leslie’s familiar basics: kicks, marches, step touches and knee lifts. While usually done at a moderate pace, Leslie also adds in some higher intensity “power boost” segments to create the “Big Burn.” ©2009. DVD has: Music only option.

Leslie Sansone's The Big Burn 2 Miles of Intervals

Re-Review
I did this one again, and I liked it better the 2nd time through. I have MANY of Leslie's workouts and sometimes you just need a 30 min workout. This one is good for mornings to wake up your body or evenings to release stress and burn a few calories for sure. You can add light hand weights to bump it up too. - posted by TracyAZGirl on 11/2/2009
same ole....
I like to watch the cars drive by that you can see looking out the window of her studio-I was wishing the black curtains were open a little bit more though so I could see what else is going on out there in Pittsburg, PA!.... ha ha . I like 2 mile walks 'cause I don't have time for much else these days- it's fine, nothing to writ home about! Her 5 mile fat burning is great though! - posted by TracyAZGirl on 10/1/2009
AWESOME!
She does it again! I love this dvd. I use it 3 times per week. Lots of fun goes so quickly. Keep it up Leslie! - posted by Denise on 8/21/2009
Poor Production Values
The workout was completely spoiled for me by the incredibly poor production values. The camera shakes and the framing is off center a lot. Since she bought her own studio, I'm starting to think she hires family/friends to do her taping instead of using a professional film crew. Plus the music is the same recycled stuff we have heard in a thousand other Leslie workouts. I won't be buying anymore of her stuff :o( - posted by Raina on 8/20/2009
LOVE...LOVE....This walk
I love this walk it goes by very fast and it is fun at the same time. I LOVE Leslie's casual way, and her enthusiasm. She makes you feel like you are special and you can do ANYTHING you put your mind to. Her cueing is very good and easy to follow. I do not like to jog but I like how she shows you how to do it lower impact and still move at the same pace she is moving. You still get a very good workout and a very good sweat. This tape will help you loose weight and stay fit. I have used it a few times and all ready have lost some weight. Some people complaint about the BOOMing noise you really don't notice it cause the music is moving so quick. THANKS again Leslie. This is a GREAT workout. - posted by Odile on 8/17/2009
LOTS of fun............
I reach for this one often. It's 2 miles of sweaty, intense walk-jog intervals. True, production quality isn't the greatest but the workout itself really gets the job done in 32 minutes. Leslie's veteran walkers, Mary Kay,Joanne and Linda are back and I was thrilled to see them. She also has two other walkers with her,all in all a very lively, spirited group just having fun. I highly recommend this one, it's great to do on those busy days when you just can't fit in an hour of exercise at one time but just beware YOU WILL SWEAT doing this one so make sure you have time for a shower afterwards~LOL~ Great job,Leslie!!! - posted by Judy on 7/29/2009
Morning workout
I love this routine, is quick, energizing and effective. I'm new to Leslie's videos but she is becoming my favorite instructor. Contrary to what I expected, I like the casual tone of the video and I find myself reaching for it often in the mornings when I don't have much time. - posted by Janette on 7/2/2009
Amazing!
The fast pace, music, quick rotation of steps, and boosted walking work together to make this a fun workout that flies by. Love it! - posted by Gemma on 6/11/2009
Really Good Workout! Great sweat factor!
I have had this DVD for a while, but finally got around to using it today. The pace is quick and she really uses a lot of arm movements in this DVD which many of her others tend to lack IMO. There are 3 "boosted walking" segments where you can jog or walk. The music isn't bad either, mostly instrumental, and there is an option on the DVD for "music only". I will agree that the production quality is poorer. Some of the camera angles are odd, and at one point it looks as if the camera guy dropped the camera while trying to get onto the floor for a low angle. Leslie refers to him later in the DVD having him do some kicks. There is also several points where you hear a "BOOMing" sound which sounds like someone's mic is being hit. It feels as if the DVD was quickly thrown together; which makes sense as Leslie comes out with new DVDs literally every other month now. Other than the production problems, I really did enjoy this DVD. The combos during the intervals get a little switch up and adding all the extra arm movements in really helps to make this DVD a great sweat factor in a shorter amount of time! - posted by Julia on 6/9/2009
FAST, EFFECTIVE AND FUN
This is a great workout. It goes by fast and is fun plus effective. The 30 minutes just flies and you will break a decent sweat. - posted by Deborah on 5/7/2009

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
