Certified instructor description: Pure aerobic intervals that cycle through three intensity levels. You'll maximize fat-burning — and maximize motivation — by "pushing your body to the limit," then enjoying a soothing recovery period. Each segment has the same sequence: "base," "ascent" and "peak." The low-impact "base" interval is the easiest. Then it's "ascent" — mixed impact and faster-paced with more varied combos. The final block is "peak" — challenging, higher-impact moves designed to leave you breathless (but don't worry; you're quickly back to that well-deserved recovery interval). Excellent cuing with lots of motivational techniques (e.g. a countdown timer, a "half-way done" whistle). ©2011. DVD has: Chapter menus, Wide screen.

Michelle's More Peak 10 Cardio Interval Burn

Great Michelle Dozois workout!
This is a great cardio interval workout! I would not recommend this for someone who is not in pretty decent shape already. I work out six days/week and am getting started with interval training to increase my endurance and overall fitness level. This video is great for that. It is very challenging, but in a good way. It's awesome to get a full hour of pure cardio - it gives me so much energy for the rest of the day! Michelle has great cuing and energy and the workout is fun. Highly recommended! - posted by Jill on 5/18/2012
Give it your all and then some!
I love Michelle's DVD personality! I lead a exercise class at our church where we project this workout onto our big screen. The is attended by various fitness types. I am glad to see Michelle has incorporated one of her instructors to be the "modifier" is this DVD. We started with Michelle's Peak 10 Cardio Interval Burn and now has moved onto this one. Fun and sweat inducing! We currently do the warm-up and the first 3 peaks and then a cool down. Our goal is to add on the other 2 peaks in the next month. I wear a heart monitor which has calculated the amount of calories I burn, doing the 3 peaks, at around 400 calories!! WOOHOO! This is hardcore so prepare to be in awe of yourself afterwards. And remember, if you can't finish the move at least keep moving! ;) - posted by AKAStacky on 5/15/2012
It is a great burn!
This is one of the highest calorie burns I've found in a dvd. - posted by Dale on 5/12/2012
Tough!
This one is tough-no rests!! She moves quickly through the exercises with no breaks. The moves are a bit tougher to learn than the first Peak 10 Cardio but one you do it a few times they get easier and you can transition quicker. This is a fun routine! I like this one a lot! - posted by Laur on 5/10/2012
Cardio at it's Best
If you're looking for a pure cardio workout without equipment then go no furthur - Michelle's Peak 10 workouts are simply the best! (I now have two) These workouts are so much fun. Michelle is a superb instructor with energy to burn and her 'up' personality also inspires me to really get into the workout. Quality workout Michelle - keep up the excellent work. - posted by Helen on 5/9/2012
Strong intervals
I like Michelle's Peak 10 workouts because the moves are varied (not so overly repetitive or tedious), easy to follow, and capable of being modified as needed. - posted by Nancy on 4/27/2012
Best workout ever!
I recently purchased this video and I love it!! It is a pretty hard cardio routine but so much fun! And I feel so strong when I'm done. You will love it!! - posted by Amy on 4/27/2012
Love it as much as the first one!
Michelle has become one of my favorite instructors since I purchased two of her workouts this year. "Peak 10 More Cardio" is simply great--it's fun, intense and over before I realize it. I believe I prefer it to the first "Peak 10 Cardio", because you seem to be moving more. (That one is pretty great, too, however.) This one is in my rotation at least twice a month; I have so many good ones to choose from! :-) - posted by Anita on 4/26/2012
LOVE IT!!!!!
This is my favorite video of Michelle Dozois! Great workout and fun! - posted by Laura on 4/22/2012
Heart pumping
Wow! I've only done this one a couple of times and have made it through the first 3 peaks only and then skip to the cool down. I consider myself in pretty good shape but this obviously will kick my workout up a bit! Some of the moves are a bit faster than I like, so I like that the peak moves you can do at your own pace and still "work it". Moves are athletic based but take some practice to get them up to speed. I like it and will be working hard to make it to the next 2 blocks! - posted by Libby on 4/19/2012

Reading a Time Graph
X
Each workout shows a time graph of the workout sequence, from beginning to end. For example, this workout starts with a 10-minute warm-up and ends with a 10-minute stretch. In between, you'll do aerobics, then toning, then a cooldown.

Segments that include both aerobics & toning
Some workouts combine aerobics and toning. If the aerobics and toning are done at the same time, you'll see a "blended" graph. If the aerobics and toning are done in short, alternating intervals, you'll see an "interval" graph.
