Mindy Mylrea's Workout! |
    Fun Workout! |
| This was my first Mindy Mylrea workout, but not my last. Mindy is fun and encouraging. This is a challenging workout that uses a BOSU ball. I liked trying out new moves. I'm an advanced exerciser and will definitely be keeping this in my rotation for cardio days. - posted by Jamie on 4/14/2011 |

    Dread Factor Alert |
| I think Mindy is fantastic, she is straight forward and no nonsense type of gal. This WORKOUT will work you out, especially the legs. She just keeps going after them over and over. Lots of squats, lunges and plyo moves that will make you do the jelly jog as she refers it. I think this is a great work out but it has a huge dread factor for me. I've had it for over a year and have only done it 5/6 times. I've really enjoyed Michelle Dozois Peak 10 work outs, maybe try those out, varied and no dread factor. - posted by Andrea on 2/8/2011 |

    Overlooked/Underrated |
| This workout was a breath of fresh air as was Mindy! I saw this workout mentioned when it first came out but never saw or heard much about it after that - so I figured it fell flat. I decided to take a chance on it and am not disappointed that I did. I workout to many other instructors such as Jari, Cathe, Amy, Chalene, Shaun-T and Michelle. I'm sorry to say I never heard of Mindy outside of this workout but I did really enjoy her. I like that there is room to grow with this workout and I liked that she showed some bonus segments at the end for additional stations to change things up. I may just buy this for my own home collection. - posted by Missy on 10/24/2010 |

    kills your legs |
| I have to admit after the first 20 mins of this i was dying, and I am used to advanced workouts. The leg stuff was just a killer. I'm still not sure how i feel about it. I generally love advanced/challenging workoust, but in this case all the plyo's and unending deep jumping seemed like a real unrelenting punishment on your legs/knees. Mindy's legs are unreal. I mean seriously, most peoples' legs do not have that functionality, even those who are super fit. nonetheless, I think this workout has true merit and is worthwhile for those who are looking for a challenge. I love the 40 second cardio intervals combined with strength and I love that the equipment needed is minimal (no dumbbells!) The toning stuff at the end was hard to get enthusiastic about (the gliding disks) but it's good to tack on to the end if you're feeling like a challenge. (I usually feel challenged enough by the first part of the workout though). This review sounds overly down, but Mindy truly is one of the best instructors out there. - posted by meg on 9/5/2010 |

    Great energy and personality |
| I'm amazed at her energy, despite no music and limited equipment or choreography. I liked it because it gave me ideas for things to do when I travel or am at the gym and not taking a class. I found it a bit boring with no music and just moving from one thing to the next. However, it is worth the purchase for new workout ideas, unique moves, and a workout with limited equipment. I really like Mindy's personality and enthusiasm; this was my first purchase of one of her videos. I usually buy Cathe, Jari, or Patrick, but will add Mindy to my list. - posted by Connie on 8/29/2010 |

    Good workout, great script |
| I know that headline is odd, but the script is unusually motivating in this video so I really noticed it. The workout begins with much more difficult moves and sequences and becomes noticeably and thankfully easier towards the end. The ab section and the core segment with the gliding discs (I used paper plates) are both fabulous. I gave 4 stars, and this is always my issue with Mindy, that there is a fair bit of repetition of movements we've seen since Interval Express. I'm not sure if it's more true with this instructor than any other because they all recycle movements, but I own a lot of Mindy, Cathe, and Patrick, and I notice it less with them. I'm not really paying for the script or the cute set, I'm wanting to buy new movements than those I already have. All in all, a rewarding and well organized program. I wonder if Mindy has ever had her colours analyzed. - posted by Christine on 1/17/2010 |

    WORKOUT!!! is right |
| I was looking for a cardio workout with basic choreography because I am choreographically challenged(lol). This has simple moves that truly will get your heartrate up. The moves that she does that she calls throwbacks from the 1980's are fun. The 40-second "stations" are truly intense. Be prepared to do each of them 2 times. This is my first Mindy workout and I was not prepared for her chattiness. Man can that woman talk!! But she somehow does it where it is not annoying at all. The only complaint I have is that I was sweating so much that I slipped a few times because I workout on a wood floor(lol). Great cardio workout!!! - posted by Lee on 10/8/2009 |

Another Great One From Mindy! |
| In my opinion, Mindy Mylrea can do no wrong. This workout is very basic, yet still innovative and challenging. I particularly love the "surfing exercise", where you lie down on step and then jump up as if your are mounting a surf board. Mindy shows a lot of options and each exercise can be easily modified if you do not have the specific piece of equipment that she is using. As always, Mindy is very personable and motivating. - posted by Josie on 9/23/2009 |
